I agree. Most everything is not just black and white, and it's pretty important to keep that in mind especially when discussing such variable topics as human behavior.

Wow. Pretty much the best TL;DR of The Power of Now I've read. Will definitely be coming back to this. Thank you.

Been having a bit of mental trouble trying to understand this OI thing. Your post helped a lot! Now, instead of seeing it as this paradox, I see it as a rational tool to use to get the results I want. I should care a lot about what I eventually accomplish, but I shouldn't be scared of fucking up one event, since another one is just around the corner. Thanks for this.

Honestly, there probably is no real solution. The reason why these voices are popping up probably stems from a deep history of neglect and low self esteem, which I'm sure 90% of guys have. The best we can do is realize that thoughts are just that. Thoughts. And they have as much power as we give them. Ever think about a pink elephant before? Boom, you just did. Does you thinking it make it any more real than it is (which it isn't)? No. And it's the same with any other thought. So like with almos…

Although I'm not very experienced, I may have some insight on this as I have been thinking it over for quite some time. My take on it is: yeah, you're gonna have bad moods, and yeah, sometimes those bad moods will have been caused by something specific and measurable which you can attempt to eliminate. But sometimes those bad moods will not have a specific and measurable cause, and the only way to go about them is to accept them. Sure, go ahead and try to diagnose your situation, but don't go to…

But you see, that's what "PUA" teaches you. The good side at least. It teaches you how to be confident, how to have good social skills, etc., along with the nuances and intricacies of both. Confidence is such a vague term, but PUA has taught me that it's simply being unapologetic yet respectful with how you express yourself. It's little things like that that show the beauty of learning game.

Hey, really appreciate it, thanks a lot. And yeah, will try my best to pump more of these out as I gather more experiences.

I have it, and while I have not watched all of it, I have watched enough to have a good idea of what it's about and the quality of the content it offers. All in all, PIMP is an extremely well put together program by one of the best instructors in RSD. It answers almost every question possible in game, and leaves no threads untied. However, Julien's pretty structured style, and his tendency to utilize drama to the max, may not appeal to some. He offers some very good points on inner game, though,…

I honestly think Mark has a distorted view of "game". He probably defines it as "doing" something rather than "being" something, which is what good game should be. Flirting is a part of game, but so are other things like leading, escalation, comfort, and getting logistics/screening.

Was first pissed when I realized it was a blog post. Quickly grew to love the writing style, the wittiness, and most importantly, the message that yeah, shit happens, but it isn't what happens that defines who you are, it's how you react to it. Absolutely fucking amazing.

Haha, "Models" is a book by this amazing guy named Mark Manson which illustrates pretty much everything about seduction. The reason why it is mentioned so much is because the book stands out from the ego-based, in-authentic content that is so rampant on the internet. Models teaches you how to seduce women by being completely honest, vulnerable, and yourself. I, and many other people, highly recommend it.

That's because you're setting the bar too high. The bar being how "cool" you think what you're saying is. The thing is, if you 100% believe in what you're saying, and it's coming from a congruent, confident place, the girl will 99% of the time find it cool as well. So set the bar lower. WAY lower. Because what you say really doesn't matter. What matters is the vibe you're putting off while saying it.

Loved how you emphasized the nuances in the abundance mindset. Most things in life are nuanced, meaning they have two sides/thoughts to them. It is extremely important not to take any advice dogmatically as almost all advice has an exception to the rule.

Especially Alex's teachings. Although he quit RSD and started his own company AlexSocial, he's still making amazing videos and blog posts and recently came out with a new product especially for newbies.

I just mentioned bookstores because I was just at one the other day and saw a couple cute asian girls around college age studying.

Everywhere! Well, maybe not in dark alleyways, but you can meet cool women in a lot of places other than just parties. For example, bookstores. Or school clubs, your classroom, parks, beaches, malls, etc. Just some suggestions.

Honestly, for all these situations I would just continue expressing myself unapologetically. I think your issue is that you feel as if you need to constantly be DHV-ing when you don't. You are of value by yourself, and you don't need to do anything. Instead, you should want to self amuse and want to fuck around. You shouldn't feel that you need to turn a situation around, because your happiness shouldn't depend on you getting a simple lay. So just continue doing what you were doing. "There is no…

Explain RSDTyler then… He's a fucking balding ginger and I bet he's slept with more hot girls than your "tall, muscular, handsome" guy.

Well of course not in school. Approach at the mall or anywhere there's people. Cold approach is the best teacher.

The only way to get better at something is to keep on doing it. Use the resources provided in the sidebar and FAQ and go out and approach a LOT. A LOT. Guys would kill to be you. Rich, lots of friends, and good looking? Shit mate, just go out, approach, analyze when you get home, write field reports, etc. Approach, analyze, repeat.

Just say what you find funny. You wouldn't want to be with a girl who didn't share your sense of humour.

Flirting is basically two things. Push, or pull. Push/pull can be interpreted in two ways. Verbally and physically. You can physically push a girl by, literally pushing, her away. Jokingly of course. Then you pull her back in by, literally pulling, her back to you. On the other hand, an example of verbally pushing her would be a tease. "Your hair looks like a crow's nest" - push While verbally pulling would look more like, "I really love the sound of your voice." - pull This instantly makes thin…

Freshman here. I run a much lighter form of game, a lot different from what's talked about in this subreddit. Most of it's based on RSDAlexander's Natural Instinct method. A simple Google search will do wonders. Anyway, teen girls are still girls, so what works for older girls still generally works for younger girls too. However, there is greater social pressure as a girl can't just hook up with any guy she wants to without being judged by her friends and most of the grade. News spreads quick. S…

Introduce physicalities, make her comfortable with you in her space, express yourself openly with no hesitation. In short, be vulnerable, be polarizing. Read Models by Mark Manson for more info. Great book that goes super in depth on vulnerability and neediness.

RSDTodd made a video on this. I summarized his four points below: You can always do the best that you can in that moment. There is no excuse for not taking action. Steps From Todd: Take one right action - focus on just doing one right thing. Maybe just saying hi, or just walking up to her Release from outcome - purposely try to fail. You're already failing so why not fail in a funny way Changing focus or goal - focus on another aspect of game. Maybe work on dance floor game if your dance floor g…

I bet Julien's laughing his ass off at all the drama he's stirring up. I don't think his intentions are bad. Julien just likes to see how far he can take things since he get's bored very easily.

Thanks for this. I'm currently 15 attending high school as a freshman and have been trying to figure out why on some days I feel so much better and view things differently, while on other days I feel like shit. This helped me quite a bit. Thanks.
