The status quo is comfortable. Good looking=gets the girl. As a kid, I always teased girls. It was just something boys and girls did to each other at the playground, in the cafeteria, etc. To some degree, forms of “teasing” are taught in pickup. I was never aware that it was a “technique/tool” because it was normal to engage in such behavior.
