I am 100% on board with that. And that is a noble cause, and one which I would also probably be doing were this in my country. But you do have a better chance of affecting change if you are in the military. So why not use them to learn skills and get training to help you do that? I haven't looked into it, but most of these "manditory drafts" are usually no longer than a year. So if you don't mind being cannon fodder and learning some tactics then do it. I'm basically just saying that if you love your country then fight for it if you are able. If you don't like your county then do something about it. So many people waiting for life to happen instead of making life happen. I have been to war, seen/done bad stuff, hated it 90% of the time but I still did it because I volunteered for it so I just got through it. I'm speaking from experience, I'm not trying to be a keyboard warrior or anything.

Ukraine and its people have been fighting for years, they have been well prepared for Russian aggression as best they can be. Just because other countries haven't put boots on the ground doesn't mean they aren't helping. Ukraine has been given all the tools it needs to defend itself for now, and if it escalates further, then nations will take steps accordingly. Please do a bit more searching for factual accounts of what is happening in Ukraine, and what has been happening for years there.
