1) Being nice and having a spine are not mutually exclusive. You can stil be nice without being a doormat. 2) Also recognize what jerk means in context. If a woman is calling you a jerk it may because you're not fitting her view of what a man should do for her. EX. "i wanted to go see [insert shitting romantic comedy] but he didn't want to go! What a jerk!". 3) Fully agreed. Look like you care about yourself.

well put. Again to reiterate what i said further down the page i think this forces the supposed "nice guy" to examine his motivations critically and as HumanSockPuppet says realize the disconnect from how they see themselves and how others see them.

Good point sir\ma'am. Upboat for you! I think all these points don't necessarily apply to all foreveralones all the time but certain points do. It places responsibility back on the nice guy. This reddit is a good start for those willing to change the attitudes portrayed in this comic and go from AFC to PUA.
