the point is, in the UK, numerous studies have shows there's a statistically significant difference between the schooling outcomes/pathways to higher learning/earnings for white working class boys vs. non-white working class boys, so the "white" component here is likely source of some kind of systemic disadvantage. That's the argument/reality that's seemingly being highlighted anyway.
