Do you think undiagnosed ADD/ADHD is possible? My morning routine that should take 20-30 minutes sometimes takes 1-2 hours because a 30-second distraction turns into 30 minutes. Anytime the problem seems to be, "I know exactly what I need to do, but I just can't force myself to do it," it's probably worth ruling out ADHD before feeling like you just need to try harder. How's the rest of your life going?

Just FYI, "rape rack" is the actual industry term.

The only answers you need are "no thank you" if someone offers you a drink, and "I don't want to" if some asks why you aren't drinking. It's your choice not to drink, and it doesn't deserve more than a dismissive response unless you're actually a recovering alcoholic. These nonsense "I'd rather do meth" answers make you seem like a try-hard shithead. You don't drink. It's not a big deal. Don't make it one.

Women who deliberately bear false witness hurt not only the men they falsely accuse, but the many women who are true victims of the unspeakable crime of rape. Again, what process do you suggest to separate the first group of women from the second?

DiCanio (1993) states that while researchers and prosecutors do not agree on the exact percentage of false allegations, they generally agree on a range of 2% to 10%.... Jordan (2004) 68 out of 164 41% ("false" claims) So, ignoring the first stat and judging on worst percentages possible according to Wikipedia, there's a 59% she's not lying. So even statistically, it's more likely than not that she's telling the truth. I know this sub likes to go, "OMG, women are the worst," but at this point, I …

Again, neither of us know what proof the accuser showed, nor what investigation the police conducted, and Nelly has no reason to cooperate with questioning. Why aren't you willing to accept that the police and the courts did their jobs before they decided to arrest him?

So, at least three people (the accuser, an officer, and a judge) agreed that there was reason to issue a warrant. If you can propose a better system, I'm open to it. Would you prefer people weren't arrested until after the trial? How would that work?

He was arrested because the police determined there was enough evidence to arrest him, and a judge agreed. I don't have any information about what led to their decision. Are you saying that he's most likely innocent because TMZ didn't lay out all of the information the police presented to a judge to get a warrant?

Nelly has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman Whether or not he raped anyone, he was arrested. Any other arrest would be reported the same way. What exactly is the problem with the article?

This isn't just women. I went to a night club on their gay night once with a gay friend and a girl. The girl came back from the women's restroom and was totally creeped out that it was full of dudes.

me: "I liked your meme." you: "Fuck off." Is this how you behave in real life?

Ha, I kinda liked the totally out of context use. Fresh spin on an a stale meme, like one last shot of adrenaline before you declare the thing dead.

The good version of Meditations is the Gregory Hays translation. It's got to be one of my favorite books.

This actually sounds fun. Hand your wallet to the cashier, shake your head, and say, "I'm sorry, my assistant's off and I don't know how money works."

Yeah, totally legit. I'm honestly surprised how much stuff is on there. I regularly use it to get a better preview of a book I'm thinking about buying than I can get on Amazon.
