The guy who hooked up with a girl who lied about her age has been removed from the sex offenders registry.The whole issue is the girl lied about being old enough to consent to sex and the guy had no way of knowing this. It doesn't matter if he was 30, hell, even 60. This isn't about an exemption because the guy was young, it's the fact that he had no idea the girl had lied about her age. It was admitted in court by all parties involved that he would have had no reasonable way of knowing, yet he still got charged.
