Umm, so you're not happy, you don't love the guy, and you're irreversibly changing your principles for him? Literally what is in this for you? You either lead him on for a while until you get too fed up and dump him, upsetting him and wasting your own time, or you go all the way and get married to a guy you don't love and end up bitter and hating your choices. Just end it, and do it before you sleep with him.

Eh... I don't know. There's certainly things that are easier about interacting with other asps but I'm very high functioning and since men don't learn to mask as well etc, I don't think I could tolerate one in a relationship. They're just too annoying and weird socially.

As a high functioning autist, yeah you can learn to be feminine just like you learn to blend in and appear as a "normal" person (though maybe you haven't managed this as well, I don't know you). I don't have much experience in relationships because finding a worthwhile man is hard and I have other practical reasons that get in the way, but yeah, just letting you know you're not the only one.

Preance is so cute, definitely using that in the future! Happy for you both!

Yeah I would agree, probably the biggest issue is going to be when you're a bit older but still healthy but you end up having to look after someone who is getting frail and possibly senile, and then he could die and leave you alone for quite a long time since by that age it won't be easy to get into another relationship (though you may not want one).

Because women are most fertile when they're young, and all of the physical characteristics that men are attracted to are symbols of health, youth, and behind those, fertility. Men's sex drives wholly revolve around spreading the seed far and wide, and sowing oats in a 20 year old has the best chances of success. That's basically all there is to it.

As anothergoodbook said, Susan Venker's podcast is very good. On Youtube there's also Mrs. Midwest and the Fascinating Womanhood channel (also read the book). Use the searchbar to find other threads about youtubers, podcasts and books.

There's a limit to what you can do here. Does he feel the need to take the job and continue working like this even though it's making him unhappy in order to provide for you? Maybe discuss him changing jobs or cutting his hours and reassuring him that you don't need the higher salary or whatever benefits this job has (but think about phrasing it well so that you don't hurt his masculinity). A bit more money is not worth a miserable home life.

Is his concern purely financial or is he modern in that he sees it as 'only fair' for you to economically contribute equally (or close to)? What are his career prospects? How much does he earn? Is he earning so little that you working is a necessity, or are you guys just living above the means of a single decent income? How are you with budgeting? Do you think you can make cuts that would mean his salary is adequate whilst still living comfortably? Basically you need to ask yourself these questi…

Basically that, just say "I'm flattered but as a rule, I only send pictures to people I'm really close to :) Hope you don't mind" If he has a problem with it, he's demanding and not worth your time anyway.

Thanks very much for your advice. Do you mind if I ask, so you guys didn't live together and stayed in different countries for the full 2.5 years apart from some visits? How regularly did you tend to visit one another? Were there any special challenges for you LDRing?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
