I can attest that this isn't true from my own experience. On my divorce paperwork, and on the baby's birth cert., they say I'm not the father. Furthermore, my divorce paperwork said I have no financial responsibility. Both Kansas and Florida said because the baby was born while we were legally married, it's mine. While yes this is your problem, horrible as it is, there are things you can do. You have nearly described my issue that I had for years before I could take care of it. I sincerely hope you find a lawyer to take care of it, I don't have a name as I live in Kansas. I had to got to court in Kansas to take care of enforcement here then take care of Florida. You hit the nail on the head. Right there. A woman, and a man, is someone who treats people equally, which I believe is what we should strive for. This crap of what a man represents and what a woman represents in today's stereotypical society is bogus. Day to day, month to month and year to year that changes. What's inside is what counts.

This, like the other "Judge" shows are ABSOLUTELY edited and made to look like one person is horrible. Oh so very much this. The places where there's OBVIOUS inequalities and down right horrible behavior toward woman is where feminism should definitely be. Many strides are to be had in those places. In the west, nope. Sadly the radical feminists, the outspoken ones are here screaming about inequalities when they have blinders on to the ones that experience true inequalities.

Living in Kansas I can confirm that they'll go after the man and completely disregard what the facts say. My exwife had a child with someone else. She applied for aid almost the same thing here and they went after me. The divorce paperwork said I'm not the father as well as the birth certificate. Neither mattered. Took a lot of work to get the support to stop but not until they took 8 years of support out of me. Lawyers wouldn't touch it.
