I think you're right that this is probably a gross over-generalization. I wouldn't say you're freaking out, just remember that if you're polite but firm you can usually put a stop to anything too inappropriate. Ultimately, only you can know whether something is truly 'too far' and if it does feel that way, who are we to judge otherwise? As others have said, working in a kitchen (or any food service job) is a very different experience from working in retail or an office. This post needs more attention. I'd never considered that the "spiked drink" epidemic could be a myth, I always just assumed that was just something that happened. Granted, I'm not remotely surprised that the facst have been exaggerated and distorted by feminists.
