1	Women are the victim, no matter who the victim is! The Sherlock Holmes quote and the views that it represents comes from a time when we didn't know many things that we do today in philosophy of science. There is no such obvious distinction between theories and 'hard facts'. All facts are facts of some theory. Indian newspapers use the idiotic measure of pass percentage to claim that "Girls are outshining boys!!!!". So even if 80 boys and 50 girls appeared for an exam and 60 boys and 40 girls cleared it, it'll be described as "Girls outshone the boys".
