I swear to God they pick on millenials for being soft and sensitive, but my work deals with a lot of actual gen x/boomer population and they are the most entitled , sensitive bunch I've seen.

overthinking Haha that's my weakness. As an overthinking asian, good for studies, not great for pickup :[

As a the typical asian that focused on their studies too much and wanna get into this now, where do you recommend I start on my journey of self improvemetn?

Thanks for this post it is very encouraging. I am only vaguely familair with pick up, never really did any of it because i was too busy being a "good asian" and focusing on my studies. But I'm aware of the core concepts and ideology. Where do you think I should start off?

and it was totally different, and great I thought when you said the experiences with a 6 figure salary woman was completely different that you had more to say to it, guess not

So, again, work on your social skills. Train seriously and get in good shape. Talk to lots of women in the streets. Test them, ask them questions. Date them. Make new friends (both male and female). Get to know/date many women, evaluate their personalities, values, etc. You'll then be much better at separating the gold diggers from the non-gold diggers. Gotcha, so basically the embodiment on what this sub is about right? Self-improvement? That's good at least I know I need to work on my skills. …

I hope so, my greatest fear is getting conned. Thanks for your input though

Considering that option 1 is hard/almost impossible to sustain in the long-term, he'll probably go for option 2. So I feel I am similar to OP right now but I am willing to change. Can you elaborate further on what you mean so that I can properly change my mindset so that option 2 is less likely to happen? Just want to make sure that I am taking in all the lessons from these comments correctly. Thanks

But from everything I read in the post it seems like to me that women are now looking at you like a provider prospect as opposed to not being looked at at all. But that isn't enough for you. You want to be looked at as lover prospect that actually sparks passion within them despite what you do professionally. You should want that. Nothing is wrong with you for feeling this way and letting this eat at you. Similar situation to OP and Wow. You put into words what I was exactly thinking. It is for …

Any pearls on being able to detect them for someone with little inexperience? Similar situation as OP and I feel that I am smart enough to be able to tell, but at the same time smart enough to realize that I may be inexperienced and still get conned. Any advice would be appreciated

I'm sorry to hear about your gold digger SOs. Guess there's shitty people on both sides :[ But it makes more sense to me now why people care about the other SO's income. Before I thought it was extremely superficial but now I realize, perhaps people want a partner with the same income as them as a way to ensure that their SO isn't with them just for the money, which is a thought that's becoming more prevalent in my mind as I grow older.

But yeah you're smart enough to spot the gold diggers As someone who has little experience and similar situation as OP (although prob not as many girls calmouring as OP) do you have any pearls of wisdom for detecting gold diggers? I feel like I would be able to tell but sometimes I doubt myself because of my inexperience, or if the gold digger is just that good.

Thanks for this comment. Similar situation as OP (maybe less girls clamouring since I hide myself pretty well) and reading his experiences and the comments have made me really depressed. Like you said me and OP are probably more bitter because we were skipped over in that fun phase and now that girls want to settle down it makes it seem like they're "settling" for us which is what I believe makes us very bitter, because it makes us think we were not the first choice, but the safe back up. But yo…

Not OP but similar situation as OP and yourself. So does your long term plan include never getting married and having a significant other? just want to hear the thoughts and experiences of someone further down the road

Can you elaborate on your experiences with the 6 figure woman? I would love to hear the differences so I know what to look out for in the future

The women who want you because a) biological clock ticking b) wanting a successful asian to settle down aren’t worth dating. They are losers who’s desperate to grasp onto someone successful so they can have an easy life. I can relate to OP as I'm also in a similar situation and I guess my question is, for people inexperienced like us how do we tell these loser women apart from the good ones? That's my biggest fear tbh, the fear of getting conned by these gold diggers

New so dont know too much, but from what I know so far mark manson author of models does not seem to advertise himself as a pua. Is he not respected then by the pua community or did I get it wrong?
