Then it makes absolutely no sense to be hostile instead of re-iterating that. I don't see how ANYONE benefits from what happened in this conversation. Why would the immediate answer to my comment be "you don't have anything to contribute"? I work in IT. I could had contributed technologically. I am male who is being silenced. I am part of the core audience. I am independent politically. I could had contributed financially. I am sometimes active in communities around MRA. I could had contributed …

Perhaps I am. But being pedantic or skeptical isn't really a crime or such a morally terrible thing though. It also doesn't directly harm the cause. In your opinion, who might turn away people from contributing to the cause more - someone who is being pedantic, or someone who immediately jumps to alienate and attack someone for mild criticism? Isn't there a contradiction between fighting against those who silence others, while being so trigger happy to attack someone just for criticism or "being…

I have seen your type over and over, and I am bored of men like you. Even if we had a build to launch right now, you would just find another excuse to attack the post, ergo you are anti-social. Goodbye. Open source the project this week, and I will dedicate a year of my time helping you to develop it, with at least 5 hours a week dedicated to it. This will allow us to see who is here to look for excuses.

You have not addressed my point and instead are attempting to misdirect conversation into fallacy and personal attack. I doubt you can actually give an example of me "attacking posts where MRA are doing something proactive". Because you didn't base your claim about me on our past interactions - you based in on your perceived impression that you created in your own mind, without examining or considering the situation. I am here anonymously, so asking "what have you done for the MRM" is clear cut …

1) I have not attacked anyone. You perceived it as an attack because you are clearly projecting. 2) There are no good news yet. The only thing of substance in this post is discord link - which is not a safe space or good news. 3) Your immediate first reaction was to perform personal attack on me for mild criticism and made baseless claims about me. This is not a behavior of someone seeking to build unbiased safe space for voices to be heard - because your personal immediate urge is to attempt to…

Maybe reserve announcements for... When you actually have something? Having "coming soon" announcement with discord attached just reads as "we don't actually have anything, but you can... use something that isn't an actual safe-space to communicate with us!".

What about you/kids citizenship and home? You say "back at home" and such multiple times, but it is unclear where the home is. It is completely different situation if home is in France or in the US, for example.

That's completely fucked up, but I'm shocked its not getting more attention in the West given that it given it makes Russia look horrible. Many mainstream media in the west are instructed not to go too deep on this topic because it can't be used one-sidedly. In other words, if they start talking about it, they open up a can of worms of similar things happening in Ukraine itself.

Ukrainian women can literally pack up and be out of the country and in EU in a day. No permission required from anyone, no fees or regulations, no bureaucracy anywhere, just take your passport and get out. Meanwhile most men can't even walk their own neighborhood without having military documents on them and being harassed to show them. Not to mention being forbidden from leaving the country. And pretty much all of it is illegal and unconstitutional - it is clearly written into constitution that…

You are missing the point. The only reason you picked specifically semitism as your example is recent rise of anti-semitism, and by doing so you are indirectly contributing to it by spreading the sentiments around it. Your message is structured and framed in such a way, that it makes it seem like anti-Israel rhetoric is most of the time valid, and is being called anti-semitic to shut down valid criticisms, while in reality, only minor part of such rhetoric is valid, and minority cases you are re…

I agree with Shutup here. Your example is bad, because in reality, unlike with incel usage, anti-semitism claims are often very valid and aren't used with "VALID criticism", as you put it. Especially because term "valid criticism" is often used by the very real anti-semites to deflect from the fact that they are pushing propaganda.

To change the topic a bit, do you think the war is hopeless? I am of an opinion that we should had accepted concessions earlier in the war (2022-2023) and gave up some land to Russia while on height of morale and EU support. Current goals are unclear and I have a feeling Zelensky government will sabotage any efforts to get a deal. Putin hates Zelensky government, so he is unlikely to settle on anything with him. The answer is because many of them are "stuck" with women they have to agree with, or demolish their lives to walk away. So they gaslight themselves into conflicting views to keep their peace and be able to live the life they have. It isn't because they are stupid, toxic, have weird desire to submit or anything like that. They just got into the situations they are in, and then mentally adapted. Simply put, they are too far in and can't walk away anymore. This is why it is important to only get i…

people should especially men should be afraid to visit Ukraine If you are visitor, that fear is stupid and just Russian propaganda. Something like that probably did happen but it's obviously highly censored to not motivate anyone. It does happen, but it gets immediately scrubbed of the internet or happens where no one can see/record it (because obviously anyone at that point of their life doesn't want to store and broadcast what they did on the internet).

Ukrainian here. Here is the thing. The whole thing is utter failure. It doesn't work. Those people being dragged don't actually fight on the frontlines. Most of them just join the ranks of hundreds of thousands of deserters/dodgers. There is severe disconnect and conflict between recruitment teams that do this and actual military. This severely impacted public image, morale, and effectiveness. It was utter failure. It is soviet style disorganization of "well, they said they need 100 people so I …

Every male (either at birth or as a child/teen/adult) needs to submit a DNA sample, which is then kept in a registry. When a sexual assault takes place, any DNA evidence left behind can be directly tracked and identified, and charges be laid. Watch them to do complete 180 on this when you say "sounds great! And mandatory paternity test during birth!".

I have no clue what you are talking about. 1) Germans are in EU, so they already have automatic residency in any EU country 2) German passport is very strong. 3) Germany is rich country. Lower income German becomes middle class in poor country automatically even with small amount of savings.

Almost no one actually extradites people for minor civil offenses like that. That kind of thing is only reserved for serious criminal offenses. Most extraditions require two things: 1) Arrest warrant 2) Very significant crime committed - murder, sexual violence, human trafficking, large financial crime (talking scale of tens of millions), drug production/smuggling and so on. No one is going to start issuing arrest warrants and extradition requests for German citizens because they didn't do some …

Well, and if someone doesn't want to do that, they can just leave without doing that, duh, that's the point. It is not "have to", it is "they want you to", which is bit different. Since you can just leave without doing it, it means that wording of "have to" does not really apply. Perhaps "supposed to" would be better wording.

Realistically speaking, due to Germany being in EU, this is impossible to actually enforce. Any men who don't agree with this can simply cross the border freely and fuck off in whatever direction/country they want. So at least they are not as locked in as Ukrainians, for now.

The first step for fair treatment is acceptance that you want to judge people unfairly. If you deny your own nature of being unfair, which is human nature and how brain works, you can not possibly start to treat someone fairly. So you are right, they are full of shit.

Laws act on legal status, but people enforcing the law will act on appearance. Until you make a scene, take them to court, and so on. But none of that, after the fact, will solve the initial fact of you being treated as a man before you went to court.

See, I don't understand what you mean here. You say " trap that you deserve something because you’re a man", but after reading over the messages, I fail to find anything that suggests such mentality. IMO, if you are not prepared to debate him, you should not call him "failure", "incel mentality", "entitled prick" etc. Those are all quotes from your messages. Because if you are "not here to debate", with wording like that, it comes off as you just came to insult him.

Reading stories on this sub is really sobering sometimes. I can't even imagine how shit the life must be when your sleep is interrupted each day by someone waking you up for no reason. My place will never be as cool as home I wanted to interject on that part. Kids don't judge places by adult standards. They can find absolute dumps the most fun places to be at - depending on people and activities they are doing there. Don't let your own perspective cloud the way you can shape your experience with your son.

No, you aren't the only one. Posts like this or stories from other people "normal lives" that give such importance to things like this always baffle me. It's like I just live normal life while they are living in some kind of TV comedy or something. I don't really get it. Kids born rich have families with tradition and history of being rich that knows how to raise them. Yeah, there are some that aren't like that, but most upper class families stay upper class for generations by being smart about how transfer of wealth to next one comes about.

Even that is not even remotely true... Even before modern times, local communities would go on rampage and lynch men that would get accused of rape by a local woman, even with 0 evidence. History is full of such cases.

Actually, logically speaking it might be more fair if they are paid less. In pretty much most workspaces I know about, married workers are given more benefits compared to single people. Emergencies, late to work, coming early, not being able to cover for someone else, etc - all is excused for married people, all is pushed onto single people instead. So I bet if we examine productivity fairly, we might find that unmarried do more work and claim less benefits, so their value is higher.

It does. It clearly establishes that you indeed use same fallacy as usual - because you are not able to define any aspects that are not available outside of the marriage and just as usual simply attribute things that are not marriage exclusive to marriage.

Like most arguments in favor of marriage, you are using a fallacy by attributing something not marriage specific to the marriage. If two unmarried people lived together happily while raising their kids, would this environment significantly differ from same situation, but with legal marriage? It will instead be sexless and androgynous It will be that because humans as species will transition into artificial bodies and constructs, inevitably, the way it is going. Biologically restrictive future does not exist, as long as humans keep existing. Military members are absolutely financially stable. In fact, due to benefits, cost of living coverage and so on, military career is probably better financial security than lot of average Americans. You can save shitload of money in the military, because you don't bleed any money just to be housed, fed and supplied with basics like power/heating and so on. The only reason many guys come out worse out of military is because they get taken advantage of or make poor financial decisions. Military is …

You must be insane. There are cases in Russia of women in the system marrying new conscripts, then having their henchmen close to frontlines kill them at the front, collecting money and marrying again to repeat the cycle. It is so bad it is basically a business model for some. Major part of female population in Russia treats their men as disposable if there is an opportunity to cash it out - and all of that is perfectly supported by the state. Men in Russia have mandatory service. Women don't. I…

It probably was. But there were no cameras or media back then to document it. "Selective Training and Service Act" in US was pretty much similar thing. People who think this is just Ukraine thing are delusional. This is how it always was all over the world whenever those in power needed men for war. The only reason Americans think otherwise is because they are deluded into thinking that wars they waged with small, insignificant countries are in any way similar to what actual peer war would look …

The fact that it was possible to convict and imprison someone for a crime this serious they did not commit, with a total lack of evidence going only on witness statements, should be horrifying to any reasonable person. Yes. Which is why, IMO, title could had reflected the nature of what happened better. Current title and flair make it seem like another case of woman lying about rape happening.
/r/MensRights07/06/24 12:00 PM

Well duh, human testimonies are not reliable, that is known fact. Which is why court sentences are supposed to be based on wider evidence, not single testimony. The thing that failed here is evidence part of the system, because he was convicted with literally nothing but unreliable testimony of the victim. There is difference between people who intentionally make false accusations of rape, and traumatized victims who do it after being convinced it is the right person.

If he looked similar, she might as well was thinking she is right. She was raped by a stranger, so she did not know and was not familiar with how the rapist looked. Sure, it can technically count as false accusation because the person being accused is the wrong one. But the title and the flair are written in a way that makes reader think the rape itself did not happen. I think "for the rape committed by someone else" would be better, more informative title.

So you can leave the country in those next 3 months while we prepare for changes if you want, okay?" Because as usual, men will be treated as owing something to everyone, while women will be treated as children to be coddled.

What? You seriously expect people who think they have right to decide things like that to just go "oh fuck, you are right! How could we do something so unfair?". Kids are not a waste. But having them before you are financially stable is not optimal - because you are creating a money hole that ensures you will use your most productive years on them instead of building financial stability.
/r/MensRights25/11/23 09:21 PM

And if you would, why would you marry EARLY. Marrying early practically ensures financial ruin. Marrying late ensures you have financial stability. In theory, having dual income should mean great financial future. In reality, most early marriages end up wasting shitload of money on stupid shit, kids or losses in a divorce later. Then you have 30-40 year old guys that worked their asses 2 decades and have nothing to show for it, while their unmarried peers approach 7 digit networth.

The moment you do that, they will get ultra pissed and just bull rush you with their weight, which you won't be able to do anything about due to weight difference. One throat punch will hurt them, but won't stop them. Losing their breath hurts but they will have 30 seconds to reach. On the other hand, one hit in the head from them, and you are completely incapacitated. I hope you will never be foolish enough to suggest someone small to fight someone big, or do it yourself, because it might end v…

Martial arts could make a world of difference. No they don't. It is just another bullshit sold to people. Martial arts require your opponents to be WITHIN your weight class. The moment there is 2x difference in weight, martial arts simply... Stop working. Even on unskilled opponent. Many martial artists who tried to claim what you do ended up being beat up by bigger, unskilled opponents. Martial arts use normal physics and bodily mechanics. Those are not magical. You can learn to use them, but i…

But this is literally not the case? There are no Americans shedding blood over Ukraine aside from really rare cases of volunteers who would be like one per 10 000 Ukrainians.

Did you just completely ignore the link to NIPP I gave to that part of your argument? Many people will do NIPP anyway even without paternity concerns - simply for potential genetic issues.

What kind of amendments you are talking about? Like courts won't ignore all of that if it means that there is no parent they could get child support from... Surely just taking DNA test in advance is way easier than that bullshit you are suggesting and subsequent legal battles.

The best time to test is after birth By that time you will already be asked to sign the birth certificate in lots of the places. And having DNA test AFTER signing birth certificate can still leave you hooked for life despite it not being your child. It's a very invasive and (potentially) dangerous test to aspirate some fluid from the woman for a test. https://alphabiolabsusa.com/learning-center/paternity-testing-while-pregnant/#nipp

A relationship is based on trust. Trusting comes out of absolute knowledge that they got your back. Observing facts of them, indeed having your back does not "break" trust, it builds it up more. Your whole point is basically "you should trust someone blindly without building that trust". And that aint no trust, that's stupidity. You trust builder to build you something not because they said they will. You trust them because they build stuff in the past and can show you their projects if you ask.…

Things won't work the same anymore, common Joes will be more and more replaceable, until culmination in appearance of caste of the society that does not need 90% of other humanity to continue existing in their lifestyle. There is coming literal hard divide in humanity - people who embrace AI and will no longer need people outside of the AI sphere, and rest of the planet. Applying 14th century lessons to 21th will just set you up for a failure. At some point, Joes disappearing from the market wil…

I think you are missing some point from the OP. If you are doing test AFTER the fact, you already wasted shitload of time and money on someone who just betrayed you. That you do not have test done until that moment also means you have not talked with your partner about such views before hand. What OP suggests is to filter people like that out BEFORE you get tied in with them.

You are missing the point. It is not about "men should not be fighting for their country". It is about "ONLY men should be fighting for their country". If first was "all people", not specifically men, it would not be that big of an issue - because equality is a part of constitution and human rights. The problem is that equality is a lie and laws about it get just... ignored.

I have no doubts Zelenskyy will end up a millionaire on the international public speaking circuit Just to be clear - he was millionaire with multiple successful businesses way before he got into politics, so him being wealthy got nothing to do with his current actions.

These Hollywood strikers demanding no AI involvement It is just currently popular workers trying to get their royalties and profits and then pulling the ladder after themselves, so no new generation of actors can benefit from Hollywood anymore. Because if they succeed, they will make it toxic to promote new actors into popularity, and no one will want that - so they will use AI for any "unknown actor role", resulting in new personalities that get viral and popular in being AI owned by producers …

The only logical thing that comes to mind is that she was one of the rare cases of women who are eligible for draft and was attempting to dodge it by getting pregnant.

The biggest driving force behind drafting young men to war are... Older men who joined military as a career in times of peace. Now they have higher ranks, connections and good life, but have no interest is dying and giving all that up. So they need someone to take their place - and drafting civilians into the army to send to front is what they do. They are the ones who have power in the military, so in times of war, of course they will do everything in their power to send others to war, not them…

No, the outcome will be whole generation of young man starting to immigrate out of the country to places where they are not treated like that or segregating in "man only" communities/work places. With growing new economies and low birthrates, this can be pretty disastrous for US if it really comes to pass. Right now the economy holds people back, but with remote working and economic rise of alternative work destinations, young man might literally start going away. The more toxic environment beco…

Lot of cases of utter incompetence of therapists, ranging from just incompetence towards flat out manipulation or predatory behavior. I can never recommend therapy to anyone now, simply due to the fact that even if only 10% of them are bad, you have no way of knowing if you stumbled upon bad one until its to late. And the risk of coming out even worse makes it not worth it. Therapy organizations across the world lost all credibility due to how they refused to reevaluate professionalism and certi…

Right, but do you think you understand full perspective of what your life experience would be if you were not circumcised? As in, if you would live 5 years circumcised, and 5 years not, and then had to pick which one to be the rest of your life. Do you think in such case you would still pick being circumcised or not care?

Plenty of examples of women just discarding the man during war here in Ukraine. Lot of soldiers went to the front while sending their wives to EU for safety. Several months later they are divorced while the wives gets together with someone from EU to get citizenship and stay there instead. Lot will die, too, and wives just collect all the benefit and run off to marry someone in EU while it is hot. Not very popular topic to talk about now due to existential threat and war, but will likely become …

what is the problem with talking or even trying to seduce a woman respectfully ? And why exactly THAT is your topic when this is not what he was doing? I am with you. The guy INTENTIONALLY named the video what he did. HE is the one intentionally attempting to create conflict and controversy. "I got expelled" my ass. He even says in the video that "expelled" is wrong word and gives examples of better ones. Meaning that HE KNOWS he is using misleading and wrong language, but chose to do it anyway. Well yes, I am not "dog person", I am human person, who happened to have ton of different animals at different points of my life, dogs and cats both included. she was so excited to see me, she sang and danced for 30+ minutes. You do feed them and give them home, don't you? It is mistake to think that animal attachment to you is unconditional love. If anything, it is the most conditional thing possible, because it is built on all the conditioning they got since they were born and raised in captivity.
