men don’t prefer women without makeup. they prefer women without that 2016 drag queen inspired cut crease kardashian contour matte liquid lipstick makeup. men and women generally are more pleased by women wearing natural looking makeup, and even rich men and men on tv wear cosmetics for men because people look better with natural makeup that is correctly applied.

this is not a good idea in my opinion. many men will date a woman who he finds alright. so-so. a little cute. not crazy about her, but she’ll do. he’ll be content with her and drag her along for the ride for years but won’t really be 100% present in the relationship. if he actually does meet a dream girl, the relationship’s toast. it’s a tale as old as time even with celebrities: he dates the alright girl for 6 years with nothing to show for it, but then the girl of his dreams gets more effort p…

they’re very well known statistics at this point. you can just google “men are more likely to leave sick wives”, and a dozen articles pop up.

Thanks. I’m old, so I know some things, I guess.

a rich man doesn’t need you to be working a 9-5 necessarily, but he prefers you to be doing something notable. this isn’t just my personal experience. look around you. famous male actors like to date female actresses, influencers, philanthropists, and models. same with athletes. super rich men who aren’t famous may date accomplished women, but if they pick a regular hot woman, he will purchase her a small business or something to keep her occupied. every person wants to be part of something bigg…

i disagree. every upper class man who i’ve dated wanted to know my education level and long term goals from the first date. every middle or working class man who i’ve dated didn’t care as much. the upper class men don’t necessarily need you to be making a gazillion dollars, but they prefer a woman with a higher education level and higher social status. for example, she could be a trust fund kid and a full time artist who’s working on putting her work into a gallery; she’s not raking in the dough…

i don’t know who rollo tomassi is, but the older ladies in my life always instructed me to never make the first move with a man. i am glad that i listened to them. i have never been screwed over “pumped and dumped”, dealt with a selfish lover, or been broken up with by anyone who i’d been seeing for longer than 3 months. i am positive that this is because i never threw myself at anyone or showed any signs of desperation in front of men. my “making first moves” with men involve open and friendly …

a lot of people are very worried about their body when their face is far more important. i think that both men and women would rather shack up with a person with a gorgeous face and a slightly shitty body than someone with a slightly shitty face and a gorgeous body. i’m not saying that you shouldn’t try to be the best version of yourself and quit working out at all, though.

“setting up” two people seems like a trend that is dying out. people in my parent’s age group (young boomer to old gen x) are obsessed with playing match maker, but i’ve personally never seen anyone from age 18-40 engage in this at all. i have a hobby that lots of older people enjoy, and they always talk about setting friends up and try to set up the younger people who they know together. we don’t want any part of it.

alright, i’ve heard of the quintessential 666 man, but why has it increased to 9 inches now? why do you guys keep increasing that number as time goes on? women are notoriously horrible at eyeing the true size of it anyway.

the thing is, women initiate more divorces by far but are way less likely to remarry than men are. women branch swing to being single. men branch swing to a younger or prettier or more agreeable or more healthy/less sickly (men are about 7x more likely to leave a sick spouse than women are) woman when they actually do end their marriages. if women branch swing from one man to another, he’s likely a boyfriend of a few months - not a husband.

the disconnect: most women would rather be alone than marry someone who they’re “so-so” about, just okay with. most men would rather marry a cute woman who they’re alright with than be alone. if this doesn’t apply to you, that’s fine, but i’m talking about social trends of years past. it’s why we can’t really give each other proper dating advice. it’s why you see men dating the same placeholder woman for 6 years, dumping her, and then proposing to their next girlfriend after 18 months. it’s why …

this topic gets rehashed in here a lot, but a boy or a man has never asked me for my body count before whether it was the first date, a male friend, or a boyfriend. i would be absolutely stunned. is this a unique experience of mine, or are we talking about something that barely ever happens?

i don’t believe in duties. i think that you should be yourself but that you should be the best version of yourself. “be yourself” alone is cope and garbage. you can be a woman who wears baggy jeans, skateboards, cleans her apartment only twice per month, and has a pg-13 attitude, and there will still be guys who are into that despite the lack of traditional femininity. i think that men and women have more in common than they’d think. we expect the same things from each other often, but they’re f…

exactly, omg. i studied infectious diseases, and i know too much. yeah, they’ll be cleared for the obvious ones like chlamydia and gonorrhea, but too many slutty dudes are basically hpv, mycoplasma, trichomoniasis, gardernella bombs.

it’s becoming more and more common for the men around me to blame their height on things. sometimes they’re kvetching about being 5’5”, and i have sympathy. but i’ve also seen dudes who are 5’9” complaining… i’m sorry, but you’re not down bad because you’re 5’9”.

there was a heart throb at my school who so many girls liked. he was 5’4”. i live in the US, not some country with a very short people. he had a handsome face, was intellectually gifted, and was funny. there are more of him out there as well as other kinds of people who are supposedly “doomed” like super obese women or ugly broke men who routinely seem to be very successful with dating or sex. we all generalize, but there are hundreds of thousands of people who break stereotypes and behavioral t…

the hard truth is that you’re not exactly your boyfriend’s first choice. unless you’re both out of this world sexy and interesting people or whatever.

body language and non-verbal cues are integral to communication and socialization. my heart goes out to, say, some non-neurotypical people who don’t understand these things or can’t even hold eye contact.

that’s exactly it. men are easier to date. in my experience, they fall in love faster, too, despite the lesbians getting u-hauls after the 3rd date jokes

i’m so grateful that mine did, i’m sorry. i’ve never made the first move with a man before, and i’ve legitimately never been played or screwed over by a man since my teen years when everyone was still figuring out this relationship thing (well… boy since we were kids). i don’t think that it’s a coincidence. i’ve also never dealt with a partner who was selfish in bed or tried to hide me. i’m not trying to brag here, but i really feel like i need to share my experience with other women.

i don’t agree. it’s a combination of many things, including wanting to be pursued (it’s fun and easy) and internalized homophobia. it’s easier to “do the normal thing” if you can, it’ll make life easier for you. sometimes gay girls saying, “i’m scared to talk to girls,” really means, “i’m scared of being caught talking to girls by my loved ones and society as a whole”.

most bi men who i know are functionally gay. they can message other bi men or gay men to have sex, and most will be down. they don’t have to do the song and dance that it takes to court a woman. anecdotally, i know many male couples who are quietly poly and feel like it’s no big deal to enjoy a third or another couple for the night. this is definitely a privilege that isn’t granted to men-loving-men in small towns, though.

bi women will literally like women more than men and then date men because it feels freaking good to be courted and pursued. i understand why some straight men wish that women approached them more.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/22 07:40 AM

yeah, nope. i feel the same. women tend to be pickier than men. too many men will agree to date a woman who approaches him just because she’s there. he’ll find her “meh” and waste months, even years. these turn into the women who are harping for a ring after 6 years of being together, only to be dumped for someone else who gets the ring in 18 months. incels and even “regular” men alike recognize that women are waaay pickier, but that’s an advantage to men in a convoluted way because they’re less…

as a woman who’s dated women in the past, it’s definitely part of “sapphic” culture to “yearn”. just see how many of them post about being “scared to talk to girls” and shit. i’ve seen so many girls heavily flirt and then decide to part ways. i mean, some of them don’t care and just go for it, but some women are hard wired to have reactive attraction, and for some women, female socialization to be passive takes YEARS to unlearn. so many bi women wind up with men because men cold approach 100x mo…

finally a post that makes sense in here. many women have reactive attraction as well, meaning that in order to get turned on, the man who she is interested in is turned on by her first and starts pursuing. for many women, her favorite thing about her boyfriend is how much he loves her.

i’m not interested in a romantic relationship unless there’s intimacy at least 3-4x per week, so i would probably just fall out of love after a few months if that was going to some robot instead of me.

they’re delusional. my mom is 56 and gets hit on all the time. it’s the newest insult to women as a whole in order to get women to settle for less. calling us sluts or fat doesn’t hurt anymore, so now there’s this “women are useless over 30” campaign.

not so young anymore, but i was just a few years ago, and i like “pretty” men. still do. i also like some rugged men. women are attracted to good facial symmetry, good forward facial growth/jaw development, and a v-shaped healthy body. many prefer tall men but not always. there are other random signifiers of youth and fertility such as a thick limbal ring in the iris, contrast, a thick head of hair, and prominent veins. basically? men with healthy T levels and good genes. pretty men and rugged m…

if it’s someone who we know, we see the beauty in them. even if they’re fat or have a fucked up nose or something. they could have beautiful skin or beautiful hair. we love them, so we say nice things, and there is definitely something (or things) beautiful about them <3 if it’s a complete stranger, it’s usually out of pity or virtue signaling

new money men still care. if the man wants to have sex with you a few times and not speak to you again, he does not care. if the man wants to date with you, oh my god, does he care! in fact, new money can be even more paranoid and stingy than old money. or middle class. or poor. men grow weary and resentful of a girlfriend/wife who sits home alone all day and watches reality tv and either doesn’t work or works at a very shitty job part time. men who give a shit about you want to see you accompli…
