5	Any tips for approaching ladies at the office ? One more for good measure - don't fucking do it. Not worth the awkward/creep factor that comes with trying. Not worth the headaches of having to see your girlfriend all day everyday if you're successful. Time apart is healthy for relationships. And most of all not worth the embarrassment when it all goes south and management has to choose who stays and who goes. Chances are, it's going to be you that gets the boot. 3	Guys be more self aware. Saw a pair of dudes working the room at a bar the other day, and everyone was laughing at them. You could be helpful to them and offer to work out with them - to further your gym example. Not suggesting OP should have jumped in and helped these guys though. Just making the point that newbs are just trying to figure shit out like the rest of us. Those guys could have just been working on getting over approach anxiety. They might have thrown out any expectations of success or further connections to try and just practice their approaches. OP didn't talk to them, so we'll never know.
