Any shows/movies where toxic femininity is critiqued?Series one of White Lotus was good on this - the son being disregard by everyone with quite a touching ending. The father too has a similar arc. Both find their masculinity at the end, and it is treated as a good thing. So refreshing | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/07/26 01:10 PM
Saving Men from Feminism in order to Save Feminism Is a Lousy IdeaThis was a great read, thank you for sharing | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 19/07/26 07:36 PM
| -1 | The Red Pill Will Never Have Good Prescriptions Because Its Historical Claims About Gender Are Wrong.Denying evolution is so regressive. The right used to do it with their creationism, the left do it with gender. Men have solved 99% of the problems of survival, and invented 99% of human technology, give or take. This is universal. There is not a civilisation on earth in which this hasn't roughly been the case, including the current ai revolution. That is not culture, it is biology. The facts are sexist. Deal with it. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/07/26 06:34 AM |
Time for some positivity: what aspects of male culture/being male are you proud of?Yep hijacked by rich white women just like Bill Burr said | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/06/26 04:06 PM
Is The Empathy Gap Book by William Collins good? That index is terrible - almost every link I click on gets: 'This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it? It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for.' The 'somewhat' makes it even more annoying | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/06/26 06:14 AM
Time for some positivity: what aspects of male culture/being male are you proud of?I think the worst aspects of what some people call 'woke' culture are heavily female skewed - the cancel culture, the mobbing. It is gross and unhealthy. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/06/26 06:07 AM
How do I(19M) get comfortable with girlfriend (21F) being of the view 'I hate men' while being a man?You believe that "by default, women have to be on guard and defensive with men until they can let their guard down, and that 'I hate men' is an expression of frustration." It sounds to me like you also have a misandry problem. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 22/06/26 11:07 AM
"If more women were in power, there would be no war."This is just such bullshit anyway. Women are not kinder than men, they just do conflict in a different way. Women are more likely to gang up and bully and attack reputationaly. They can be absolutely savage. Just look at a website like Tattle Life. Mostly middle aged women, and one of the most unkind places on the internet. I also note that people who make this argument forget about women like Condoleeza Rice, Margaret Thatcher and Aung San Suu Kyi who oversaw an ethnic cleansing. How many femal… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/06/26 04:28 PM
Book review: Notes on Being a Man - Scott Galloway (2025)This is exactly right - women can be whoever and do whatever they like, men have a life of obligation, subjugation, protecting, pandering, providing and also dying in fucking wars. Thanks Scott for your help, support and advocacy. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/06/26 07:08 AM
Book review: Notes on Being a Man - Scott Galloway (2025)He is not a friend to men. He is a male feminist who feels men should subjugate themselves to women. The worst of all worlds. He is also obsessed with money in a very shallow and reductive way. He is also deeply in love with himself. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 14/06/26 02:11 PM
| -1 | Men aren't actually 'allowed' to be angryI like the sentiment and agree but it's a shame that it is written by ai | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 13/06/26 07:29 AM |
I want to be a feminist, but it feels AlienatingI call myself an equality feminist. That's different from a 4th wave with all its misandry and special pleading | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/06/26 07:19 AM
"MRA is a hate group" according to feministsWell we already had a cross post from Tin Men about how women legally can't be guilty of rape in the UK, despite huge public support for the law to be changed | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 07/05/26 07:05 PM
Why is it assumed that the same content that young men are getting rage baited by has no effect on women?Feminist when they want a raise, tradwife when they are held accountable | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 25/04/26 05:45 PM
Why is it assumed that the same content that young men are getting rage baited by has no effect on women?keep fighting brother | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 24/04/26 03:29 PM
Why is it assumed that the same content that young men are getting rage baited by has no effect on women? He comes off as a 1950s sexist. It is the man's job to protect and support women etc. He hasn't noticed the incredible power they have in 2026, the fact they are taking over entire areas of the economy and making them hostile for men (good luck if you are a new male white author and want to get your novel published), that misandry is today a huge problem, much bigger than misogyny going by the recent stats. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 24/04/26 05:47 AM
Why is it assumed that the same content that young men are getting rage baited by has no effect on women?Galloway is not a friend of men. Nothing he says is not perfectly BBC/NPR friendly and in line with the dominant ideology. He seems very keen on boosting women, protecting them like special flowers and diminishing and blaming men. I think he is a fraud. He's also intolerably arrogant. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 24/04/26 05:35 AM
False rape accusations are incredibly common, virtually routine even.Thank you | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/04/26 12:48 PM
False rape accusations are incredibly common, virtually routine even.Does anyone have a source for that 8% number? The problem as I see it is that the believe women bias is so strong, and men are only exonerated with overwhelming proof (and even then...) I suspect the real figure is much higher. I fear there are an awful lot of innocent men in prison. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/04/26 09:25 AM
Is gender largely a social construct or are there biological components to it?Feminists say it, because of the things it finds that are inconvenient to their ideology. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 14/04/26 05:54 PM
