| 1 | Why the human penis is unusually large compared to that of other primates is a long-standing evolutionary question. New findings suggest that female choice and male-male competition have jointly favored larger penis size, greater height, and more V-shaped bodies in men.Agree with all of this except the general tone that suggests x trait is dysgenic and y trait isn’t. It all depends on the milieu. Part of the source of all this friction is a schism between how fast our environment has evolved and how fast our brains have evolved. We still instinctually select for traits that conferred advantages in primitive societies, yet we have civilization structures and technologies our ancestors couldn’t have even conceived of. On the earlier comment about genetic recombi… | /r/BlackPillScience | 29/01/26 04:11 PM |

This also means the average size a woman encounters will likely be bigger than the actual average among a large randomized group, because there is already pre selection bias at play. You also need fewer kcals when you’re smaller to survive. That could be part of it too I suppose, if you are tall yet otherwise healthy it signals an abundance of kcals and therefore resources, or even some sort of resiliency since you didn’t succumb to health maladies associated with unusual height? The larger penis correlates with other features that result … | /r/BlackPillScience | 26/01/26 04:22 PM |

I think modern day heights are actually a product of fisherian runaway, much the same as penile size. I imagine pretty soon humans will be so tall and hung they will need transfusions during sex unless they want to end up hypotensive and pass out, lol. The guy who mentioned Ecuador forgets that those sources are all based on self reported data, highly flawed. Imo what’s going on is that penile size … | /r/BlackPillScience | 26/01/26 06:07 AM |
