2	Hitting a cop while he's making an arrest Hm. Maybe. Regardless of her intoxication and the stupidity of what she did - the cops job is to protect and serve. Not smash people to the floor unnecessarily. That looks like an adrenaline vs. thought out response.. in a more dangerous situation that kills people. Just saying that his response seems far excessive and I wouldn’t want to ride shotgun with him on patrol. Or have him on the street keeping my neighbors and I safe. She could be messed up for life. Doesn’t deserve that. Very unprofessional and sad cop reaction. It’s an old drunk lady who was probably seeing you hurt someone.
