You'll notice in the statistics there is a massive discrepancy between attempts and completions. There are these people who attempt over and over, and never complete. The acute affects of hypnotic suggestion wear off in a couple days, usually, but if you adopt them they can be permanent. Also, you can just keep hypnotizing yourself.
