What can we do to defend ourselves at this point? Just try not to rape anyone.

Men Women Can use contraceptives Yes Yes When she gets raped, gets pregnant and kept the child Goes to prison for rape, likely wont contribute anything financially or emotionally to the child, but rapist genes get passed on Deals with emotional baggage of not only being raped, but raising the child of a rapist. Likely will receive no child support if rapist goes to prison, if rapist isn’t found guilty (burden of proof too high), he may request custody/force his way into their lives/make her life…

Why can't she date a guy of the same demographic as herself? Why is that unreasonable or shallow? Regardless of cashflow, "demographics" (being a combination of age, education level, income level, race, and upbringing) heavily influence how much you'll have in common with someone. She's not asking for someone who is a social class higher than she is, she's asking for someone who is on the same level.

What beyond expecting men of the same age and demographic can she reasonably do? "I will date men from 3rd world countries in exchange for a greencard."

I date my girlfriend because, mainly, younger women are significantly less of a pain in the ass than women around my age. In my dating experience, when women get near or in their 30's, they are EXTREMELY stubborn, have freakishly little flexibility with their life goals or their views of men. "Yes, I was gorgeous, ish, for a while, and self-absorbed, and shallow, and inexperienced, and over-sensitive and dull. You’re right, mate, you’d have much preferred me then." I think what you're really say…

Except that she's probably also in that demographic range (middle-aged, well traveled, financially secure). She wants to date someone who is similar to herself, and I don't think that's unreasonable.

I like to think about domestic violence the same way I think about rape: If they don't report it, it probably didn't happen.

I hope he enjoys his divorce. If my significant other pulled shit like that he'd no longer be my significant other.

Last time I checked, it takes two people to make a baby. Why shouldn't the cost of covering that be spread over both genders?

Well, most generally it's true.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
