No. Institutions usually keep some level of confidentiality. Whether or not the students have to maintain confidentiality is determined by the institution’s sexual misconduct policy. Not a lawyer.

Appeals almost never overturn the decision fortunately. Unfortunately this only marginally reduces your stress on the situation.

This is classic Reddit. As you look more into this issue, you will find that there are very few safe havens for discussing this issue. Instagram, Twitter, college campuses, real life, etc. are so saturated with #MeToo idiots that the discussion of false accusation is quite literally taken as offensive. It's only within MRA communities and other communities specialized to support the falsely accused (which often evolve into MRA-like atmospheres) that this issue can even be discussed. This story r…

He will adopt the burden of proof if he moves for defamation. Unfortunately most of the damage with this false accusation has already been done in an arena that has no concept of due process (Public opinion).

Please understand that Title IX does not have your best interest in mind. The incentives underlying Title IX investigations and hearings make the goal of Title IX to rapidly expel males regardless of the evidence. You're not alone. There are many in the same situation that you are in right now, and many that have won. Please head on over to /r/SupportForTheAccused or join the discord https://discord.gg/uTQtvPGX. There are plenty of men there who are Title IX experts and may be able to offer advi…

You’re not wrong that universities are polluted with anti-male political bias. However, males are already fighting an uphill battle to keep up with regards to college attendance, grades, scholarships, etc. it’s still important to get a degree if one feels called toward fields like medicine, engineering, research (the substantive type). However, it’s important for anyone attending a university to understand the political interests at play and not be brainwashed in the interim. It’s possible to go…

I’m all for ranting about entitled women trying to trap men, but I don’t think that’s what that thread is about. In the OP, she says that due to medical issues, the “accidental” pregnancy can’t happen. I don’t see how they’re supposedly supporting something that the OP admits is impossible? Trapping men with pregnancy is bad. Not reading the OP before cross posting is worse.

You’ll get a ton of hate for this because this post is objectively toxic. The last sentence is ironic: “Please, see not only from your perspective, but from all perspectives.” Let’s also add this platitude: Don’t be a hypocrite.
