Yep, women I've rejected will try to spread the rumor that they rejected me and I just wasn't man enough to handle it and all kind of BS. Then they'll try to warn other women not to socialize with me, try to "steal" my male friends (who will all think these women are batshit), etc. Even though the same people they are telling this witnessed them following me around, stalking me at work and on social media, name-dropping me constantly, etc.

Women will stalk you and try to ruin your life. Just because they don't default to fatal violence doesn't mean they don't get rejected and upset and use their manipulation tactics for revenge. At least that's been my experience for 40+ years. Even though they have their abundance, women could move on and have a new BF for every day of the week and still seek petty revenge.

Most women are always single and attached at the same time.

Same but for me it's not physically but emotionally/psychologically. I mean, I see unhealthy people dating all around me and sometimes I feel left out. But at the end of the day I know that I would be harming anyone who would date me and the trade-offs to avoid that is worth it to me. So I'll keep working on myself, things don't change overnight. Chances are I'll never feel fully "ready" but I'll find at least a respectable level.

And sometimes none of these apply, and you're still the beta orbiter.

I pass this test, but that's about it. I know there are a lot of fat lazy slobs out there these days, but plenty of guys are in shape and get no play.

People you know for the most part already have fixed opinions and perceptions of you, and perception is reality in this case. They've already categorized you and take for granted that how they see you is how you always will be. New people give you a new opportunity to form different impressions.

It matters but most guys use this (or whatever they can find) as an excuse. I was 5'6 when I was 15-16 but ended up over 6' so I was going to ask you to define "teenage." However I see you are 18 from the comments. So, yes, you are probably done growing. Another thing, almost everyone exaggerates (I look a lot of "six-three" dudes in the eye at 6'1 in shoes). So, you might not even be 5'6, but if that's your true height it's probably not as bad as you think since all these 5'9-5'10 dudes are out…

I disagree and don't understand this connection between "non-neediness" and being an "instant chad." Neediness is a negative behavior and removing that is a net positive that does not necessarily need corresponding or overwhelming positive behaviors in place. I've experienced increased attraction from women just by removing negative behaviors (don't be unattractive) without really doing anything else. Sure, it might not result in increased success for someone with no previous success but I don't…

The average girl is going to receive like a thousand times the attention as the average guy. One you're really attracted to is going to attract other guys, too. It's just part of life. If she's cute and friendly she's going to talk to a lot of guys in general. Some of them will shoot their shot and it's not something you control. All you can really control is how you behave. Being territorial and clingy is going to be a turn off. You can't hover around and constantly keep tabs. Women might SAY t…

Any thoughts on what it means if they refuse to play match maker? Just curious because I thought it was funny when one of my work friends mentioned that to another one and she was like " uh uh I don't do match making." That one thinks I'm her male best friend or something and she does things for me and wants me to hang out with her but never with any of her other friends or any women except her attached relatives (sisters and such). I probably just overthink this stuff but I was contemplating th…

The good thing is I've gotten really good at being friends with women. The bad thing is I've gotten really good at being friends with women. All my work friends are women, and they fight over my attention but none of them want me. One considers me her best friend and she does things for me (brings me food, small gifts, etc), but she also scares off other women and refuses to introduce me to other women friends or anything like that. So it's like i'm the prized male "best friend" for these women …

As a man who has a problem being too passive and subtle, I think if a woman can't tell it means the man isn't very good at it.

I look a lot better in person and have a more attractive personality, too. Compared to online curated dating profiles and the options women have there, irl I rank a lot higher for my market and it's not even close. So I think it would be common for men to do better irl and women to do better on apps. And I observe this, too, as I see female friends (cute w/ good personalities but 5s or 6s at best) match with 100s or 1000s of guys and wonder why they don't get beyond 1st dates.

I think there are really diminishing returns once you are at the point of not being a complete fat ass and not looking like you didn't give up on life. Unless your physique is part of your livelihood or something, IMHO. You can attract more women with a slight dadbod and other things going for you than just being a walking 6pack.

I want to do it solely for the accomplishment, to show myself I had the discipline to do it and follow through. I don't walk around in public with my shirt off or post attention whoring pics on social, so no one would even really know I have one. I was a chubby kid and I've been perpetually in the shape of a guy who sort of looks like he works out but has a little extra. I wan't to get in ripped condition just to say I can and then probably slide back a little to flat abs with no flab but no 6 p…

OK, I guess I'm missing whether this is sarcasm or not because this reads like some "nice guy" meme to me or something. Yeah, hang in there, you are such a catch, some chick will come around without you taking action. Except, you know, spilling your feelings out on her and then you will get friendzoned or something.

I understand that but I think it's crazy to go from that to the idea of marriage and basically throwing away a lot that you learned to go all-in on a oneitis.

I can't disagree with anything you say. That said I'm thinking about trying this with a friend I've known for a few years (but only really been a friend for 1) and I will report back on results.

I can believe it, just because I've experienced and observed similar things and I've lost out on a lot of opportunities by not being direct and bold enough. Can't even count how many times I've accidentally rejected women, or I guess rejected myself, because I didn't take action like that. I don't think he's saying his "entire game" is this. There has to be some sort of mutual attraction, obviously. He's not saying he's just going up to random uninterested women and saying "Wanna fuck?"

It was a great story until the part where you asked someone to be your GF just to get laid and then said you will probably marry her. But, tbh, I completely understand. I have one of those crushes where I thought we would be perfect but something was just missing (basically the sexual vibe) and you completely nailed what it was. Sometimes I think about reaching out to her and just cutting to the chase. it's hard sometimes when you have an existing persona and people have that perception of you, …

I agree with this but Goggins also says "you've never arrived" and I think some of us on the self-improvement journey take this to the extreme and think we need to be alone until we "perfect" our lives, which we also know is not possible.

I was never a male supermodel or rock star or anything, so probably "no" on the extreme hypothetical but women certainly let me know I could do whatever I wanted to them and I blew it a few times by being anxious and neurotic. I used to accidentally reject women and not even really know it and they would still go out of their way to qualify themselves later. Then I went through a period if invisibility so my life has been strange.

I agree. I just know with my experience it's attractive but does a lot less from a "dating" perspective than being average fitness (there are diminishing returns) with ideal personality/character traits.

"Your appearance is something that you can constantly improve, but you’ll never reach a particular point where you’ve “made it”. Furthermore, improving your looks won’t make game easy. I’ve seen numerous good-looking guys fail at game. " I like this part because in life you've never "made it." You've never arrived, IMHO. You'll get stuck on "Now I'm not fat, but now I need a 6 pack. I have a 6 pack but now I need bigger delts" or whatever. I've lived this. When I was younger I was objectively be…

And men should be, too. I was going to make a similar comment but about HIS age. If you're a 20 year-old guy you shouldn't be looking for commitment.

The other day I saw a Youtube video about how the only way to get out of the friend zone is to never allow yourself to be put there in the first place. Then the very next video from the same channel was about how if your GF has a male friend never trust that he's just a friend and she's probably lining him up to replace you, lol.

I'm in the latter category and probably only not a virgin because a handful of women thought I was good-looking enough to make it happen.

I agree only if you agree that looks are subjective and emphasize "in her eyes." I've had arguments here where people swear on objective 10scales and looks-matching and whatnot but I know women who only like men who are 5s at best and are not attracted at all to much "better looking" men. I have a friend who insists it's because she "only cares about personality" but the rest of us think she must not care about personality, either. The reality is, I think she adheres to this premise. She just ha…

OK, I'm going to try this and also go no contact with a female friend I've been thinking about too much. For 90 days. Feb 7, 2020. No orgasms, no approaches, no porn, etc.

Or you can be like me and be both, because the kids end up resenting and not respecting the mom who tries too hard to be the fun parent without providing parental guidance and boundaries.
