I was this wife, it was hormonal, she needs to speak with her ob/gyn and hopefully get on hormone therapy. I was sexually dead inside and what a difference hormone therapy made for me. It was the opposite for my friend, her husband had low testosterone, it made him crabby and not interested in sex. He was prescribed testosterone cream that they apply to his back, she has to be super careful applying the lotion because she could absorb it too and apparently that is not good.
