Wow, who would've thought that tumblr is made up of a lot of people with differing opinions? Its almost like how reddit can have posts that make a lot of sense and other posts that don't. What a shocker. Congrats on being a decent human being.

He's not arguing against men's rights, he's pointing out that people act the way the article describes, not just women.

Just bear in mind that everyone is a unique individual and they don't necessarily fit into generalizations or stereotypes. You said it yourself, you still had those feelings even before meeting MR. So obviously something drew you to your fiancee in the first place. Keep the 'knowledge' I guess in your mind but don't necessarily act or judge the women in your life on it until you see EVIDENCE that they are harming you in some way. Ask yourself if the women in your life do things to hurt you or ac…

I'm sorry, but your opinion is not a fact. Its just an opinion. Citing religious fiction doesn't suddenly make your opinion a fact either.

Omg guize women are evil since they don't all follow "the dating plan". The sky is falling if women are unique instead of following some bullshit societal plan to dictate behavior and responsibility to marry and bear children barefoot for nice guys! Newsflash: its okay if men and woman are all unique beings who want different things. Yeah some people want to mess around, some want to settle, some want to marry and some want to go to an insane college party. Get over it. Life does not come with a…

Why does the name of the cause matter? When I read the article I got the sense that the writer defines 'feminism' as basically 'humanism'.... Every philosophy has their nutcases and allowing your opinion on a philosophy to be ruled by a single sect of it is kinda sad.

I'm not some raging feminist trying to dismiss the issue at hand. What I'm trying to do is offer another perspective in which our societal puritanical view is to blame as it punishes both genders for trying to flirt period. I didn't claim that women get it worse nor did I say this issue doesn't exist. Please read the post before you go frothing at the mouth because a female decided to share her view.

My father never talked to me about dating or men at all. My mother didn't either. So I learned from a public school education, societal expectations and my own experiences. Hell I'm still learning and my entire view on what's acceptable is pretty confused. A highly conservative societal view is at odds with my own desires and how I see my peers behave. I've had some incredibly bad relationships and I've also fell head over heels. In the bad spots I've let men be disrespectful to myself and I've …

Make sure your girl is on birth control then.

Another girl here. I absolutely agree with all of her points. Men are wonderful, amazing, sexy creatures. But I've had managers make some creepy as fuck comments to me during work that I have to ignore and try to continue my job. I've also met some really nice guys that I've flirted with at work. You just gotta find that balance because honestly when you're at work, you should be doing what you're paid to do. There's a time and place for that :p Another thing to consider is that the societal vie…
