If they can't afford it, there's the option of sharing both properties. You're still limited to the 2 residences and the kids aren't displaced.

That is completely un realistic. With loss of income etc. Keeping two residences Divorced parents are already maintain two residences with the current typical arrangements. It is just that the kids are shuttling between the two rather than the parents.

It is a subtle difference, but I typically hear "Feminism helps men too" more than I hear "Feminists care about men's issues too". The problem is, whatever help feminism thinks they're giving to men isn't help that men have asked for or want. For example, a feminist may say that eliminating the (mythical) wage gap helps men too because then society would place equal pressure on both men and women to have a better work/family balance and that would help men.

That's not going to happen in the type of situation I'm talking about. No one can get convicted without an investigation because there isn't even going to be a suspect without an investigation. Without a suspect, who is getting convicted? Certainly not happening in court. Can't see it happening in "the court of public opinion" either. Not sure what angle you're taking.

It is possible. However, in my recollection, it is highly unlikely. Attention-seeking, random crime, made-up stories tend to unravel quickly - with even a cursory investigation and questioning of the "victim". No "perpetrator" is ever in real danger of being arrested; likely not even questioned or investigated.

No. This is going to get circular, so you'll have to go upthread and see that we disagree on another point. With an actual rapist, there is an actual victim; so the situations are not the same. With a "made up a story to seek attention" story of crime (rape or anything else), there is no victim except a cop that wastes their time.

Not sure what kind of "limited time" you're talking about. If they go and spend some time with a therapist and "get better" (whatever that looks like) in two weeks, it seems kind of silly to keep them in an insane asylum for a year.

I don't think someone making up a crime story (any crime, not just rape) because they are craving attention is going to qualify as being criminally insane (IANAL). I don't think that means that throwing them in jail or fining them is best way to correct their behavior.

Sorry. I just don't think that happens. Whether it is a made up story of a random rape, or kidnapping, or mugging, or whatever. When people make up these stories due to mental illness and/or attention seeking, they tend to unravel fairly quickly. I can't think of a known one that resulted in an arrest, much less a conviction.

Without the context of the original allegation, I'm not ready to condemn this yet. If the allegation was specific in nature, with a named "rapist", then she should simply be prosecuted for false reporting. Didn't read the whole thing, but they spent a lot of time talking about the one guy who was really bent out of shape about female adultery. Is that really an issue that MRA's focus on? To me, cheating is a result of a bad relationship, not the cause of one. I think the bigger issue is when a woman cheats, files for divorce to be with her new fling, and then still "takes half his shit". But that's the alimony/divorce laws; not adultery.
