I like your little social experiment of giving out your number and not taking theirs. I think it's worth a shot especially since you don't live in SD. I think if you've built enough attraction then she will get at you. Giving it out (is this a reverse #-close?) in a short period close is much less likely to work at all. Let us know how it goes, I think I'll try the same.

The end goal of using practicing approaches and lines and methods is that ultimately you won't have to think about them while you are interacting with someone. For example, you'll subconsciously notice that a girl, or a guy for that matter, is looking uncomfortable when a certain subject is brought up and you'll react to make her feel more comfortable without giving it much thought. I think the theory goes hand in hand with the field experience. To use your reference, you may have a killer jumpshot but it won't get you anywhere unless you know the play that gets you wide open to take it.

Solid points but acknowledge that many people have different goals when it comes to seduction. I happen to agree completely with you, but it really comes down to how you define the winners of the game. For some, it's simply a conquering mission. For others it's about self improvement and long-term happiness. Different scents for different gents, you know?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
