Does the 80/20 rule apply to women too?I’m surprised there isn’t more discussion on this. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/05/21 09:01 AM
r/dating is mostly male, but r/datingoverthirty is mostly female. Why?I know, it’s insane, and it’s easy for some subs to be an echo chamber. I was not obsessed with dating up, and I don’t think any of my friends were. I do think there are shallow people out there of both genders. I suspect that many of these people care a lot about how other people perceive their partner. Maybe it’s this need for social approval from others via one’s partner that drives this? I care most about my experience in the relationship and what I think and feel about the other person. I a… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/05/21 12:21 PM
r/dating is mostly male, but r/datingoverthirty is mostly female. Why?Sounds to me like you’re doing fantastic. I’d keep focusing on making a great life for yourself, and spend time exploring activities you enjoy or might enjoy. I don’t think you’ll have a problem attracting women over time. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/05/21 04:45 PM
If relationships are more valuable than wealth, then women have the most privilegeCheck out the article linked below. It shows men out earning women from the get go. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/04/21 07:34 PM
Men who don’t value friendships with women also don’t value relationships. They just want sex. It’s important to me because I have male friends in my life. And because they are friends, that means I like them, and I’d be sad to lose the relationship. It’s not a gender thing. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/03/21 03:36 PM
The men who had harems were rich and powerful, not merely hot and charming (or AT ALL).That’s so gross. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/03/21 09:58 PM
if you're an unattractive man, you shouldn't wonder why an app that lets you choose a partner based almost purely on appearance gets you no success.I have personally experienced multiple men lying about who they are/what they like for the purpose of relationship building for sex. Most frustrating thing ever. I have much more respect for people who are up front about looking for casual sex. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/03/21 03:03 AM
if you're an unattractive man, you shouldn't wonder why an app that lets you choose a partner based almost purely on appearance gets you no success.I don’t think most men are predators. It does take some learning when one starts dating to Id the predators. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/03/21 03:01 AM
if you're an unattractive man, you shouldn't wonder why an app that lets you choose a partner based almost purely on appearance gets you no success.I’m talking about men who misrepresent themselves in relationships. Are you sure it’s me lying to myself? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/03/21 08:10 PM
if you're an unattractive man, you shouldn't wonder why an app that lets you choose a partner based almost purely on appearance gets you no success. If I thought all men were crazy predators, would you be surprised that I was single? I would not be surprised if you were single. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/03/21 08:09 PM
if you're an unattractive man, you shouldn't wonder why an app that lets you choose a partner based almost purely on appearance gets you no success. It takes some learning to understand that some men view women in a predatory way. You know, instead of seeing them as complex human beings they’d like to get to build a very intimate friendship with. However, women are learning. I’ve certainly not learned as fast as I would have liked to, though. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/03/21 02:07 PM
Unpopular opinion: Many mothers give horrible dating advice to their sonsIt seems like your mom is getting all the blame for how you approach dating. I’m glad she was there for you. No one is perfect. I hope that over time, her advice will make more sense (because you’ll find a girl who is a decent person and wants to get to know you, and not a manipulator monster, which come in all genders). Best wishes to you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/03/21 12:52 AM

A scientist explains what men don't understand about dead bedrooms. I think she's right.Women having more sexual disgust than men does not equate to women finding sex, in general, disgusting. Yes, I read the study. I think you are being disingenuous. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/03/21 07:28 PM
A scientist explains what men don't understand about dead bedrooms. I think she's right. You say like a fact “the act of sex is repulsive to them” and offer up a study that essentially states sexual disgust exists... Yes, sexual disgust exists and there are evolutionary reasons that can be seen. That doesn’t mean that the act of sex itself is repulsive to women. Some women prefer dildo-style toys for masturbation. As a woman, I love to have good, safe (physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually, etc), healthy consensual sex. However, I’m not interested in sex without these at… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/03/21 06:19 PM
A scientist explains what men don't understand about dead bedrooms. I think she's right. How do you explain women’s masturbation? Do you think that has nothing to do with sexual desire? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/03/21 12:42 PM
Is it just me or is relationship problems always seen as the man's fault? Why would you say that this person doesn’t care about men? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/03/21 10:23 AM
84% of working women told ForbesWoman that staying home to raise children is a financial luxury they aspire to...more than 1 in 3 resent their partner for not earning enough to make that dream a reality. This is fantastic- I think you hit the nail on the head. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/02/21 01:17 PM
84% of working women told ForbesWoman that staying home to raise children is a financial luxury they aspire to...more than 1 in 3 resent their partner for not earning enough to make that dream a reality. That’s amazing!!! 12 weeks would be a dream in the US, and you’re right- that’s sadly deficient. I had no idea that Russia’s policies were so generous! I’m child-free in my 40’s in the US, and might have made different choices if those were our policies. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/02/21 12:54 PM
What's the point in marriage?Nope - you can’t change the people around you. You can start to be curious about good things, though. Like “I wonder what good thing will happen when I go to the store today?” I’m sorry that the women around you right now aren’t trustworthy. I hope you find your way into a happier and safer family/community/group. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/02/21 07:56 PM
What's the point in marriage? Not sure where you’re getting that from? I disagree. Unconditional love is really tough. If you don’t think so, try watching a parent deal with an unruly toddler. That being said, I think men and women can form healthy, loving relationships. But I suspect you’re going to have a tough time finding a healthy loving relationship with a woman until you change your perspective. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/02/21 06:59 PM
What's the point in marriage?Do you think men can, and women can’t? Or that no one does? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/02/21 10:54 AM
Would you consider it one advantage of traditional cultures and younger marriages is that they get married off young before they become too jaded by the opposite sex?Source? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/01/21 10:07 PM
Would you consider it one advantage of traditional cultures and younger marriages is that they get married off young before they become too jaded by the opposite sex? This!!! What we have today is freedom. I’m so grateful for it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/01/21 02:08 PM
Would you consider it one advantage of traditional cultures and younger marriages is that they get married off young before they become too jaded by the opposite sex?I’m in my 40’a and single. I’ll take single over a bad relationship any day. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/01/21 03:39 AM
