If in the states, text 988. You can just get a conversation going if you feel like talking you can call them, but you need to talk to somebody. There is life after this. It’s hard to see it now, but there’s a lot of living to do and whether you realize it or not you have people that depend on you, and people that want you to be around for the long haul.

I used to leave the house and everything was fine, then she would get triggered by something while I was at work, and I would come home to a fight. It was walking on eggshells, and nerve wracking. I never knew if I was going to have a peaceful evening after work or spend all of my off hours trying to calm things. It robbed me of any peace of mind that home should have been for me. Probably affected me at work too.
