Nice write-up. I'd go as far as saying being a good conversationalist is not so much a logical thing as it is mediating the feeling inside your chest. If you feel tense, hesitant, or annoyed, this will reveal itself naturally in the way you speak and respond.

Such a vague post that will no doubt send more guys into never-ending confusion. 'Improve your social skills and game' 'Don't talk' The aim of your post is: don't falter under tension. The reason most guys fail is because they get nervous and feel they have to 'show' the girl they are cool. Instead, it's much better to assume you are 'cool' and that whatever you do will be considered that way. Think about when you're with a girl you don't want to fuck. You probably don't try very hard and there …

Cheers, never thought there'd this much procrastination anxiety before getting back into dating. I'll do some e-dating/approaching this weekend.

Great stuff man, keep at it! My experience is that high intensity exercise puts you in this type of present state similar to meditation and leaves you with a type of runners high.

Sounds like you haven't quite grasped Daniel Kahneman's ideas yourself. The idea in the book is that our normal state in life is to think fast --to live in reaction. Thinking slow - learning, analysing, reflecting - takes mental energy and is not something we enjoy engaging in often. For example, most people may choose to attend a grocery store without preplanning. This is an exmaple of functioning in the fast state. A person thinking slow will take the extra time to write a grocery list. In the…

Hit calorie goal for 14 days straight now, have officially dropped 15lbs and am a few weeks away from reaching my target weight. This should hopefully put me at 14% body fat or slightly lower. Just about ready to hop back into the dating scene. Contemplating whether to wait 3 - 4 weeks to finish up with my goal, or to test the waters now.

No TRP legend here, just a regular fella. But it sounds like your challenge is shifting from text into face to face interaction. Two ways you can go about this. Voice record the interaction (secretly) and then analyse it after your next date. Or, meet woman via social means (hot yoga, gym, volunteering, night clubbing) instead of online. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

You're being too logical. If there's a broad so damn hot you can eat a steak off of her ass and cum so fast it makes you feel twelve again, are you going to stop and think about the financial impact on society in a hundred years time?

Put on a voice memo on your way to work and have a conversation with your iPhone. Sounds stupid, but do it until you figure out that you can actually talk forever. The thing holding you back is that you hide in your head, paralysed by doing something the other person might dislike - this is an unconscious habit. You'll even rationalize that they should say something instead or why should you bother, these are excuses to make hiding easier. You know it's wrong, you can feel it inside your chest. …

I destroyed my approach anxiety years ago with progressive conditioning. Looks like those psych papers came in handy in the end . . . on top of this, I joined a toastmasters club and amped up the social ante in my day to day. Yes, it is like a muscle where you'll have to practice being social. However, with conditioning, your baseline goes up and stays that way forever. Think of bungee jumping, the ledge anxiousness doesn't go away but pushing off becomes significantly easier.

Post reeks of low self-esteem and someone trying to give advice without having experienced what they are talking about. The fact that you think life becomes worse when you have more money, more opportunity, and higher status is nonsensical on its own. Of course, if you're a loser that doesn't work hard at increasing his financial situation or maintaining his health, then go figure, life won't and shouldn't be good for you.

I just did this one month ago and have an even better life than before. My biggest recommendation is to invest in your social skills. I spent the last 2 - 3 years practising approaching, public speaking, etc. . . Only when I left home do I now realise how powerful social skills are. Via cold approach I now have a huge social circle after only four weeks and could (have been) meeting up with people everyday. Many of the other people I met initially (new to country) stayed home and spent their fre…

I had a stomach ulcer because of coffee consumption while fasting and at a long term calorie deficit. I still have bouts of gastritis four months later. Stick to tea or diet soda, I think they are less of an irritant on your stomach lining --although the latter is a little contradictory to a healthy lifestyle.

I used to cold approach a shit ton as well, and right up to your 'pitch' I felt like I was reading my own advice, spooky man. You've got it down to an art form, though, well done.

Gains: Learned more words in a second language. Recovered from the flu Losses: Was sick the entire week. Wasted too much time sleeping and watching movies. Ate terribly and ruined what was a six week streak on a perfect diet. Thankfully the binge eating only took me up to maintenance. Missed a week of gym. Plans to make it up: Back into it today. Gyming, eating, meditation. Focus on my business, work, and reading in my spare time. Stay focused by logging each day.

Because it goes against the very foundation of TRP theory. Blue pilled society wants you to lay back on the bed, open your fucking legs like a whore, and let your girlfriend fuck you with her 20 inch strap on while you scream for your daddy. If that's not giving up your manhood, then please tell me what the fuck is. Because I'd rather lose a fucking testicle than spread my legs and let some blue haired cat woman fuck me in the ass. TRP teaches you how to be a man, son. Something that is lacking …

Your girlfriend is mostly oblivious to whatever traits make her attractive for you, but she is aware of what makes a man attractive for her. Most of us here is game aware and knows what role pre selection plays, so, this is it. She is showing to you that she is desired and has the approval of others, she is pre selected. You are misunderstanding pre-selection. Women are attracted to pre-selected males, not vice versa. Pre-selection is when a man has female friends or plates or a girlfriend or so…

Don't over think. The fact the girl invited you means she is very much interested. She wouldn't have offered otherwise. So if you want to see her, do it. Don't play weird mind games. Also, check out the dinner scene between the psychologist and the cop in the film: the departed. Clear example of teasing/push pull --even if it is fiction. He even uses a pressure flip near the end of the interaction (who says I want to see you again?)

Book of pook, read the chapter about this. It goes something like. . . When a man is in a relationship with one woman, his instincts drive him to treat her like a wife. However, in the woman's mind she is only a little more than a friend. This is one of the reasons men need to have many women in their lives. So that the tapestry in your mind can be filled with many female faces and that you have options, never being forced into treating one woman better than she deserves.

I was you for five years man. The pleasure from video games, porn, and eating shitty food while hiding in my room was the best feeling in the world. I'd resurface on occassion, like a troll emerging from its cavern, all the insecurities would press to the surface and the truth would slam into me harder than a bullet center head. I took baby steps. First I quit video games for a few weeks, reading self-improvement books and trying out new hobbies. It took me years to quit for longer than six mont…

I used to nightclub religiously, I'm talking 52times a year at minimum. I did this from the time I was eighteen to about 20. Then again during my 23-24th year. Nightclubs are only a scam if you let yourself get played. The guys that get frustrated are the ones that don't really 'get it' and day game or dating might be a better avenue for you. In my case, nightclubs were a way to network, get pussy, and have a good time. I would never have met so many hot women at such a rapid pace anywhere but i…

Not too sure if his dad thinks AWALT, that's wholly a red pill thing or for men that have been around lots of women. In this case, it's unlikely. But we're agreed on the: Do what you can to help, but then keep focusing on yourself. It sucks because when it's your parents, you're like 'fuck man, why can't it all work out?' What's difficult for us to remember is that they're still two very different people that have their own issues behind closed doors.

Haha, I think they're replying because it's feel good mushy mushy type stuff and most of the new people think it's right. Notice how half the post was based on her personal experience, rather than the OP's. Good example of a solipsistic view (if it happened to me this way, then the world works this way). Actually quite funny to witness this on a TRP forum. Then she finishes by saying 'masculinity is about weathering pain'. What? The most hillarious part is when she tries to explain things from t…

I see what you're getting at but I still stand on my point. I'm going to use a metaphor here. Would you blame a dog for peeing on the carpet? You can't, even if you know it's wrong and the dog knows it's wrong. It's your job to teach it to go outside, do its thing, and come back. Now if it still pees on the carpet 3 months later, then you don't let it off the hook as much.

Mental problems can change perception of higher and lower, so yes, there's plenty of room. You don't become asexual the minute you get a mental illness, come on now. I never said control, don't assume. You can't control another human, that's foolish thinking. You can however get into contracts with them, and let this influence behaviour. Your Dad is cooler than your Mum, they are attracted. (Mutual attraction contract) They get married and have children. (Long term contract) They are old and not…

Haha, on point. I was chatting with a female friend and asked her 'why' she didn't like something. After going in a roundabout circle for ten minutes, her final response (after skirting the question) was that: "she doesn't have to explain her feelings, if she feels it, then that's it, and that's perfectly okay."

You're thinking in black and white, a common habit of new TRPers. Men have beta traits and Alpha traits. You can be a millionaire that is not Alpha and fits into a provider role for a woman. You can be a broke rockstar that can't afford gas but gets pussy left and right. In the same breath, you can be a millionaire that is Alpha and a rockstar that gets no pussy. There are beta traits and alpha traits, we all have a mix. What matters is the quality of woman you are involved with and how she resp…

You say it's a shit test, but also his mother's unsatisfied need. Unsatisfied need for what? It could be an unsatisfied need for comfort, sex, or validation. Who knows? But the behaviour here is clear. The point in case is to take the emotion out of your assessment. Because even if OP's mother has a mental illness (possible) you then have to look at when this behaviour began, possible causes, etc., The most striking part of his description was his father's behaviour and his mother's retaliation.…

Like I said, it's not what you want to hear, but that's the truth. Part of the Redpill is that you can understand things you might not like. I'd love to tell you that your Dad is a victim here and your Mum is crazy. But this is fairly normal female behaviour, you just have to look at any crumbling relationship to find the evidence. Think about your friends that let their girlfriends lead their relationship and how they stop hanging out, aren't allowed to do things, and have to spend most of thei…

I have plenty of experience with this. The moment my Dad became unemployed, my mom started becoming this way --it was quite interesting to witness. She threatened divorce several times and would speak to me about how he's 'not doing anything of value'. In this instance, blaming it on a personality disorder is a cop out. There's a reason it's called 'the man of the house'. And when you're not doing your job, she'll step in and won't know how to deal with everything. Woman can't even decide what t…

This is your Dad's fault. As men it is our job to train our woman and keep them in line by teaching them. Think of the relationship as a father to daughter one (figuratively, not in the sexual sense). Your Dad is a beta male, I know this is hard to hear, but if he wasn't then this wouldn't be happening. What you see is your mother's unsatisfied need coming to the surface as shit tests to get a rise from your father. His failing to pass the majority only gives her more control and reason to act o…

What could you have done differently? Nobody can tell you that man. If you don't even have a hint, we can only guess. The shit you do wrong is the shit you are blind too, otherwise you wouldn't be doing it. It's obviously not your looks or money, because you landed a 21 year old and with the way hypergamy works, she wouldn't have dated you otherwise. It goes back to your game. Boundaries, dread, emotional control, and frame. I know you are in a shitty place right now, but your reaction says a lo…

You're letting your ego sucker punch you right now. What happened is that you worked your ass off while your mates went out and partied. They have fun stories to tell and you don't. Owning a house, gyming 5 times a week, these are rationalizations as to why your lifestyle choices are 'better' and a form of you unconciously validating yourself. See the situation for what it is.
