Accidents happen. People don't use birth control perfectly. You don't lose your right to bodily autonomy because you were irresponsible. Just like the government can't force you to be an organ donor or donate blood to keep someone else alive. Things happen. I'm not saying that is always the case, but we have to acknowledge people can be responsible and things can still happen regardless. I have known several people that have had tubals or vasectomies and still got pregnant. Nothing is fool proof. We have both been jobless at different times and taken care of each other. My dad taught me that I have to work and support myself cause he or my future partner may not and shouldn't have to be able to support me. I am an adult despite what is between my legs.
