You're overthinking EVERYTHING.

You may feel you're lucky, but some people don't like to share their lovers with anyone :) My advice is - don't fake it. It shows and it lowers your value. Be yourself.

Probably high maintenance / a lot of other guys hitting on her meaning giving her a lot of options to branch swing...

No, of course. Gay relationships exist as well ;)

You've gone astray. I've had 4-5 relationships of 3-4 years, some of which ended quite sourly but I've learned a lot about myself, and others thru all of them. I've also grown a lot. There's just something that happens when you get so close to someone, when you start to see yourself thru their eyes. It REALLY makes you try and be a better person. Sorry you never experienced that, and frankly - with this attitude, you probably never will. I mean sure - it's cool to vent and give yourself priority…

Overdoing EVERYTHING. Kinda annoying a bit.

Nah, I'm pretty sure I get the point quite nicely. You however have yet to learn that dry intelligence is one of the most un-sexy things in the world, but good sense of humor is ALWAYS in the top 3 characteristics women look for. At least with women that I like ;)

Good sense humor is definitely connected to intelligence, and brilliant sense of humor is like 100% a trait of highly intelligent people. Don't talk about philosophy if you're trying to date someone, be fun in a really smart way.

Or you know, you could just be a crap boyfriend?

You're a doofus, and your uncle is a moron if he thinks a 21yr old girl will stick for long.

I honestly think you're just trying too hard. Live your life, do your thing and it'll happen. This way, it's probably your intense focus (on something that becomes quite trivial later in life) that's killing your game. Buy a nice backpack, some equipment and go travel the world for a few months, learn to be chill - you're BOUND to meet some friendly liberated young woman (or man ;) ) somewhere in a hostel in Asia ;)

Nicely put. I'd like to partake in this course :)

J fucking K, are all of you so retarded that you don't see that this is EXACLTY the same way you would behave if you'd met a stunning but extremely stupid girl. You'd bang that ass every chance you'd get. All day every day! I know I would, and yes - I would definitely object if every single female in the world was the same - hot and dumb as a rock. So why would you hold women accountable for feeling the same??? You really are a retarded bunch.

On the other hand, aren't women really doing the whole society a favor here? Whenever a beta get his ass handed to him, he might consider changing his ways and he MAY start on his road to improvement. If women weren't like that, the society would be FILLED with pussies.

I agree, there ARE some good points, but the entire thesis is based on a ridiculous claim. Hell, I don't cry and show my weaknesess in front of my closest male friends because they would mock me to hell and back. Everybody hurts. Suck it up and move on.

You're not ugly. You're average at worst.

Good for you man! Although, I was speaking generally, I don't know you and never implied I was talking about you specifically :)

Well, no. But after the first half of twenties you realize you know jack shit and then you should technically stop giving bullshit advice to people whose lives you know nothing about. Technically. Sometimes people never stop believing they got everything figured out. We call these people douchebags.

I swear, there's just soooo many 20-1-2-3-4-5 year olds claiming they got shit figured out :)

Congrats! One note though: texting kills the relationship only if you suck at writing.

Yeah well, I have instant disqualification triggers. I don't need to spend my time with someone who thinks that movement of the stellar bodies somehow affect your love life. Also, the underground clubs I spend my time in are chock full of real down to earth girls. Maybe you should change venues.

Dude, my point is that I imply that this particular girl was kinda dim to start with. But yeah, generally speaking, people will react positively to genuine ineractions, regardless of their intelligence :)

On the other hand, it's a girl that's interested in astrology. How hard could it have been?

Am I now? No dude, I'm so far from British that we've never even been their colony. And that's mighty far. I'm from Croatia and I've seen throngs of British girls on seaside festivals this last summer. I've never had a greater cultural shock - 90% of girls were just stunningly beautiful. I've also had a misconception that they were ugly whales, but that was just SHOCKING.

I'd politely disagree.

Yes, I think it does. I've had my fucking heart ripped out at the beginning of 2012., but now I'm back up and enjoying life :) Falling in love and merging with someone, and on the other hand breaking up with a loved one and rediscovering yourself again are really profound experiences. My relationships ended and it hurt, but I enjoyed them while they lasted and mourned them when they were gone. I've learned so much about myself and other people thru all of that. You SHOULD experience all of it - …

I don't really understand why you feel it's wrong to have a relationship with someone you really like? I've had 3 4-year long relationships which were awesome. Sex is infinitely better with someone you really love and know loves you too. It may eventually fizzle out and you get heartbroken, but EACH AND EVERY time you mourn/drink/ONS for a couple of months and then YOU FIND SOMEONE EVEN BETTER. Aren't you just being a pussy because you're scared of getting your heart broken?

Thanks for this :) I gave it a shot, got burned and learned this in the most practical and painfull way possible. Will remember this in future.

Yeah but whait if bullshit strikes after 3-4 years? Do you just throw everything out the window or do you try and fix things up? I tried fixing and failed miserably. In retrospect, I think was the best choice for the both of us, but the way it all happened sucks major ass.

I've done the exact thing you said, there were a lot of hard feelings, considering we've been together for 3.5 years. It still didn't work. Got cheated on and dumped her. Happened this saturday. I'm still fucked up :)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
