Think back to the cartoons and movies you or your siblings used to watch as a kid. Now count how many of them starred a male character. There's this idea in the media, still, that man is the default gender and woman is the "sexual" gender, the one deviating from the norm. I was trying to address how one usually views the "gold-digger" archetype: that she cares little for the man and only for the money. There are women who are genuinely attracted to the wealthy men they marry- that the wealth strengthens their attraction, but isn't the only rationale behind it. By "It's likely she genuinely finds that wealth and power attractive", I meant sexually attractive, as in, "this guy is hot to me, I want to sleep with him, I genuinely want to be close to him."
