I honestly hate the argument of "oh this percentage of the population has herpes so it's not a big deal!" For me, I don't care if 90% of the population has oral herpes I still don't want it. And if someone has oral herpes (HSV1) they can give me genital herpes and there is so much shame and pain when it comes to that. I hate dating men more and more everyday :( Thankfully I can't sleep with someone (or even feel attracted to them) until I establish an emotional connection with them and feel loved in a relationship, it has saved me from a lot of LVM!
