I mean, one in the left ear and one in the right makes two. The 76% seems dubious to me though.

That's just not true. Definitions vary, but noöne says it's just the Americas.

Poland is in Central/Eastern Europe, which is the western world.

Have you ever read Mein Kampf?

You're not wrong -- Ayn Rand has pretty bad actual writing skills. Her philosophy is useful enough to an RP male however that he ought to read her anyway.

I don't think there's enough there really to discern tone.

That's reading a lot into the question, no?

"Dismorphia" is a butterfly. You're thinking of dysmorphia.

My view has been changed by another user -- I now agree it is a lie.

Thank you for laying it out and explaining it like this! I see now that I was wrong about my definition of lying. The example of the policy officers in particular was very helpful.

The concept of a "lie by omission" seems dubious to me. Either he said something that was not true knowingly in order to deceive, or he did not lie.

I disagree. It is a deception but not a lie

I think it's deceptive, sure, but it's not an explicit lie

It was deceptive but not an outright lie imo

How did he lie about being a woman? All he did is put a female profile picture for himself.

That's fair. At that point, contextuality trumps maxims like this post's.

How important is it that your boss know your struggles though? Just let your good results speak for themselves: noöne likes a bellyacher.

AWALT - women will cheat no matter what. Military wives cheat more often because their husbands are gone more often.

This is a really good post! I'd definitely consider posting it on the main sub.
