No need to be a dick, mate. To the best of my knowledge, a lot of people in this sub found out about it through other people (namely people on the Internet or YouTube), at least I know I did. That being said, it's completely fine to want to spread awareness (in a non-toxic way, of course) so that more young men get to enjoy this community.

The Kreutzer Sonata, by Tolstoy, has a lot of interesting outlooks on life in general, but mainly about marriage. Despite being a couple of centuries old, the topics it mentions are still very much present nowadays. Definetly worth a read, it's short and easy to follow.

That's why I said that it's contextual. At the time the New Testament was written, it wasn't unusual for women to be stoned to death for cheating on their husbands. All I was saying is that the Catholic Church does the picking and choosing for those who choose to follow it.

It truly depends on where you look. If you want my honest opinion, you should look for someone with family values. Growing up in a Catholic environment, I can say that true Catholic women make good wives, so long as you're not a trashy douche yourself. I don't think they have a social advantage. Sure, they may be more out-going and seem so on the outside, but from personal experience (not much, I admit, but still), they tend to have less meaningful friendships and social bones in general.

I think of MGTOW as a philosophy of life focused on the self, in getting better and more attractive as a person by doing my thing in stead of trying incessantly to get women's attention by going "out of my way". Well you have r/wgtow, but it has the same problem as r/MGTOW as it is pretty aggressive and negative towards the other sex. Although MGTOW is exclusively for men, I believe that women should seek the same path of self improvement. That being said, if you're a female don't be discouraged and see what you can take out of us.

I think stoicism is a good way to start learning about bettering yourself. Marcus Aurelius' Meditations were a strong starting point for me,maybe check that out? It's a small book and consists of small phrases and paragraphs grouped by topics.

Was just banned for saying that MGTOW is loosing its way and that its becoming hateful and centered around women (the opposite of what it should be). Got several salty comments before someone sent me to this subreddit and I can happily say that it is much more appealing than that hateful crap. I rewatched it and you were right, the cop did have to shove her but she didn't act as a human shield, she got shot when the son started coming at the cop (a good 2 or 3 meters away from the mother).

That is so not what happened, she moved out of the way when the cop told her to do so. The son then came at the cop and, in a feeble attempt to shoot him, she shot his mother instead. She then proceeded to shoot the floor too... I don't know what kind of training she's been through but it definetly didn't work.
