In Norway, divorce is really just a fee (rettsgebyr), and the laws are a lot clearly stated, så only about 1% if divorces (if I'm remembering correctly) ever go to court. There are surch things as child support (barnebidrag) but are not paid by either if there is a 50/50 custody. When there is 100% custody, the other parent pay child support, but calculated from average household expenditures, so it never reaches the insane sums I have seen in the US/Anglosphere (common law). 1	In South Korea, males between 18 and 29 must complete 2-3 years of mandatory military service. They must forcibly leave their job, education, family, etc. for the "better of the country." Women on the other hand do not have mandatory military service I did. Got exactly what I expected. Can´t join for 2 years. Standard contract is 5 years, anything less is desertion. You can obtain french nationality, but I did not. I´m what you can call a career military, and I´m in the Norwegian armed forces now.
