In addition, the training regimes were psychologically different, making the veteran experience more difficult for those from Vietnam. (cf. 1	Women in the Marine Corps yeah, I understand that, but I think the treatment of veterans was bad not just because the war coincided with a rise in feminism; the civil rights movement was just before that, and you see where that line of thought leads.. it's more important that the entire society supports or does not support a war.	/r/MensRights	12/12/10 08:05 PM

0	Women in the Marine Corps While the Vietnam vets were treated terribly, those from WWII were not (and post-WWII PTSD rates were much lower). It doesn't have to be this way; it's choice of the country.	/r/MensRights	12/12/10 06:31 PM
