You can say the same about anything. Where's the science? I bet you 70% of reddit probably plays video games at an unhealthy level. Gives you the dopamine and your brain wants more. It may even give people bad circadian rhythms because they have to stay up late to finish their game. Doesn't make it harmful. Doesn't mean it has direct negative effects. It can also be social learning. Drugs are harmful because of not the dopamine kick but because it also has negative health effects. Porn does not.…

Is there an average time limit or amount of conversation? Some form of frame of reference?

IS there ever a possibility of being too direct leading to high chance of failure? ( I suppose you might rely too much on your looks then ). e.g. "Hi, How are you doing today?" "Great, and you?" "Great, you seem interesting, would you like to go for some coffee?" Bear in mind, I am never this direct and to-the-point. The question is mainly, how much "rapport-building" is really necessary?

Elaborate with examples. Especially an example where you push too much and it has high-chance to fail.

Well yeah. Many US presidents of the past have the highest caliber of social awareness and etiquette usually, they describe it in some books about sociology. I remember, Bill Clinton, FDR, Theodore Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, Barack Obama, all these guys have been talked about in their social prowess (essentially seduction powers on everyone). I mean you don't get to become president unless you know some powerful people and seduce a lot of voters. As an example, just the other day, Obama like made…

You don't have to think you're awesome, you just have to pretend you're awesome. You don't even have to pretend. Everyone is awesome to someone. It's all about finding the right audience. I mean consider that there's been plenty of serial killer cult leaders, are they awesome? No they are not. Then wtf how do they get people to follow them? Because maybe they are delusional, so you can pretend to be delusional too.

This is what messes with my head you know... If converted to a number scale, if men rate physical appearance as a factor of 10---What would women rate it? How would they rate confidence? But is confidence only confidence or separated into subcategories like humor, wit, passion, etc? I can definitely rate many other things but if they are attractive I am more willing to forgive any deficiencies in other areas. I still haven't yet figured out those value-factors yet or how much it differs from per…

The bigger concern, at least in the US is vice-cops who are looking to make arrests. It's not worth the risk imo---you just need a rapid change in attitude: Essentially you're talking about sticking meat in a hole, there shouldn't even be a word called "virgin" because it is pretty unnecessary to describe someone who hasn't had the chance and extremely trivial. What's sad are people who perpetuate the attitude that if you didn't stick meat in a hole, you were less of a person or something is wro…

It's only funny if the guy is attractive. If it's an ugly guy it's rude as fuck. Or even an attractive guy who the girl doesn't find attractive, would come off as douchebaggery. I'm being shallow & reversing the gender roles, but if a hot blond chick did this to me and hung up on my mom, I'd be happy. But if some fat ugly chick did this to me, I'd politely try to get away but would find it rude. It's a sad reality but it's true.

A lot of your friends or those you invite, could be introverts who get tired of too many social events, or they get anxiety because of the kind of events you are planning, or they could be people who are already so popular that they have to cancel a lot of plans with lesser known friends. I think it could be more about finding the right audience. I've come to the philosophy that there are a lot of unique personalities and unique behaviors that you exhibit, that may completely clash with a lot of…

I find it interesting that you pay attention to how you ease in the girl. If I can pick your experience for a sec.. Is making your clear intentions (relationship/date/fun, whatever) known, actually that bad? And if she pulls away due to not wanting to be considered 'slutty', could you then simply retort "I thought we were adults here and didn't think you were so easily confined to social constructs, I won't think less of you either way." Or does that make girls think very negatively/scared/creep…

What you say is great, but it is meta indeed. It's hard to condense a complex decision tree of thousands of possible scenarios into a few paragraphs, and I think that's partly why reading several books on the subject doesn't create vast improvement. A lot of the best PUAs seem to be ones who have so much experience, who've encountered so many scenarios and different decision forks that they've solved it in their heads, and at that point, they can't even put it into words anymore. But perhaps I'm…

It would if I was a girl. I'd be totally creeped out. But then again I'm not a girl, so I wouldn't know. Games creep me out in general, and I am much more receptive to direct requests---but if girls were like me, we wouldn't need a /r/seduction.

Of course there are two alternate ways this "trick" could end with: She thinks you're not interested in sex with her, so you are comfortable, talking about sex with other men, and are simply looking to pass the time. She gets totally creeped out that the guy she just met, is talking about fucking and killing random strangers in a bar. And simply ends the conversation there. Now that's sound advice. I never thought of the bartender angle. Obstacle 1: A lot of people I see at bars, are with friends or groups, it seems difficult to approach them without having some reason to do so. I can talk easily to people who are alone, but when they are in a group, it's difficult because I would be interrupting them. Got any advice on that? I mean I've read about things like group-approaches via "game show openers" or "opinion openers" but it seems so silly to me.

If Gary Johnson magically convinced everyone that thinks like him, usually right-wingers, he will become the de facto current Republican party, and he will be no different, and he will have to compromise and change some of his own party ideals, and become much aligned with the current republican party. If he sticks to his ideals, then he will not achieve enough popularity to compete with Mitt Romney. The reason you like the 3rd parties, is particularly because they stick to their idealism. But i…

If you're an economics major you should be embarrassed for making a simple supply-demand mistake. Simply not true. The market works on supply and demand. Yes, as there are more college degrees, there is thus more competition for jobs, but let's pretend that we made it hard to get a college degree, and got rid of all US government student loans---then what will happen is, those universities will look to foreign students who DO get government loans from their foreign governments, to replace their low-student-attendance. If they don't get enough foreign students, they'll reduce their prices, an…

Invest in education, newer technologies, science, space, nuclear energy, green energy, car industries, biotech. These research investments are the future. These types of Keynesian investments are what made America the nation where science and technology comes from, and it's why our GDP has always been #1 as our nation exports the most important technologies across the world. No, you're 100% wrong. In almost any case, first-past-the-post almost always ends up with 2 parties being the major factions. That is our voting system. If everyone believed "voting 3rd party is not throwing away your vote", then that third party would become part of the two major factions. A third party never has a chance, and if everyone voted for it, it wouldn't be the 3rd party, it would be 1st or 2nd party, but since 3rd parties don't usually have mass appeal, your idealism is noble but sti…

then they violate article 1, section 8, clause 11. Incorrect. It is not a violation as argued by most constitutional lawyers. Please point out where a war started in recent history, and the president was accused for not being called into service and provoking/starting a war and violating the constitution. Are you agreeing with me? No, I am disagreeing with you. Presidents disagree with the constitutionality of WPR. which are deemed legally legitimate by Congress because of decisions such as the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution or the Authorization for Use of Force. This is why presidents can do it without declaring war, White House/DoJ lawyers. That power is restricted by the Constitution. And here's where I nail you: No he cannot shit funds away from searching for marijuana. Congress outlines the budget, they decide how much money DEA will use and on what. As cabinet head, the president can declare priorities, and he did, he instructed the head of DEA, to not prioritize medicinal marijuana unless state laws are violated, and to focus on bigger fish. But I bet you kill flies and mosquitos and spiders all the time. Are they not living too? Why is it OK for mosquitos to die, but not fetuses? They are both living breathing, heartbeating blobs of cells. In fact, I would argue mosquitos are more deserving of living, because they can survive on their own, while a fetus will die if taken out of the womb.

Yes it does. Especially when he refuses to drink coffee himself. If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, looks like a duck, it is a duck. Occam's razor tells us, yes he does believe this, simply out of his actions and his declaration of his faith to Mormonism.

He is required to enforce AND defend according to the constitution. Who else is going to defend the laws passed through congress in the courts? It's a check-and-balance situation. Otherwise, if the president disagrees with congressional majority laws, then he just allows the courts, in which presidents nominate the judges, to remove all the laws he hates. It would make it unfair to congress. This is pretty much why for example, even though Obama wants to, he can't just legalize marijuana, even i…

It fits under (3), there are many possessions of the US in Libya. But in actuality, many presidents disagree with the constitutionality of WPR. Actually yes a baby gone full term can survive without the mother, using a bottle. A fetus cannot. aying it starts when the baby is born is just as asinine as saying life starts the second an egg is fertilized. How is it asinine? Being born puts you in the position of being able to survive in this world, without a connection to the womb. It's a natural barrier. If the baby dies after being born, being helped all by doctors all the way, then it wasn't capable of surviving on its own, and perhaps …

Yes, and the fetus IS NOT a person. It is NOT human life, no more than the millions of skin cells you kill every morning in the shower. The mere fact that stem cells can form fetuses, become whatever cells they are programmed to be by genetics, and even recently, Nobel Prize winners have changed them back to stem cells---proves that cells are cells, and we define humans by different standards. Fetuses (blobs of cells), are just the building blocks of a human. Fetuses are only as human as any cel…

He doesn't have to... The War Powers Resolution gives him the ability to send troops anywhere he wants, essentially starting a war, and congress just has to be notified. Congress can then approve/disapprove of military action within 60 days, and withdraw American forces (AUMF 2001 for Afghanistan, Iraq War Resolution for Iraq in 2003). It's upheld by the Supreme Court as constitutional. Therefore, there is no debate on why the president doesn't have to get congress to draft a declaration of war.…

Not entirely accurate, the president has to defend all congressional laws. He doesn't have the right to "not defend it." The few times it has happened is unprecedented and can have serious consequences. In the US, the president can only veto laws, as long as Congress doesn't have a 2/3 majority. The president mostly controls the military and cabinet heads to a degree. His role in legislature is not that strong. He has to defend congressional law, he can appoint judges and cabinet leaders, he can…

Evolutionarily speaking, the man on a date, has no obligation to protect another individuals' children from a maniac with a gun. Seriously wtf is wrong with people? You protect who you can if you see fit. If you find it is not worth it during that situation, then it isn't worth it no matter who it is. The only time someone is blamed for being a coward is when they could have easily helped someone without any risk to themselves. An extremely rare situation.

Yes this is true. So what happens in many cases is that the writers, either out of speed and time, or out of laziness or lack of knowledge, will skip ahead. Guy meets girl, after a brief first date, before they even have a 2nd date, they are already girlfriend-boyfriend. They skip a lot of things. And in real life, it's more difficult, and lengthier process--and sometimes just doesn't work out.

I think the article slightly misses the point. It's not that many men feel entitled, it's that we are trained to think that everyone thinks like us. This same problem happens with women, they think men actually really care about every personality characteristic about them and how well they conform to social norms. In other words, most men believe that women are attracted to men in the same way as men are attracted to women and vice-versa. For men: I have penis, you have vagina, what's the proble…

Ok I agree fully now that you've explained it pretty clearly. I was more concerned that you were saying that the perception of status is more important than HAVING the status. With hetero men, almost everything is based on an activity or common interest. When that is gone, it's hard to keep in touch. With homosexual friends I think, that they are more about just having a friend than just having some common interests. Yes, because many women (not all) say they want someone intelligent, humorous, friendly---which is what a lot of guys do offer. However, what they really want is depicted in the romantic novel covers of every book store that is filled with them: Big muscular fitness models with flowing thick hair that will "take them away" with excitement and badassery. Or rich or of high social status, or has some sort of game like people in this subreddit.

Why is it so difficult to find gay friends or lesbian friends? Never became friends with any of them. I've met one or two in the office (but of course how can you be sure? He just "seemed" that way, but again you can never be sure) briefly. It's also possible that they don't present themselves that way to anyone other than close friends due to all the hate. Ok, but I find two problems with this, though you've definitely improved upon it... 1st---- You said "good handshake", what if the handshake (as I have seen with most women), extremely bad? As in, they kinda just put out their hand, and let you do the work, and they don't grip at all. Wouldn't that fall under "complimenting women" and be ingenuity? As in, wouldn't it be like, me approaching a girl and saying, "you have beautiful eyes." 2nd ---- Wouldn't talking about a good handshake, imply some…

Great advanced techniques, but I think there are many who may wonder the backstory/beginning of this. I.e., why would she call you to tell you she's heading to a party? Why would she tell you about her shopping? If she's already doing these things, then this step you're explaining is already easy, the harder step is getting to this position.

Honestly, I don't even think it's worth thinking about it or mentioning it. What is the difference between a virgin male and a non-virgin male? One has stuck his meat in a human hole. The fuck does that change? Nothing. It really doesn't matter... Just say you aren't one, who cares. Unless you never watched porn, there's no reason to declare it and it doesn't give you special powers after you had one experience. Doesn't matter your social standing, if you are ugly and fat, unless the objective is to pretend and just achieve some career goal. Your jokes and your confidential manner will be interpreted as creepy / too-forward / unfunny / unwelcomed, if you are fat and ugly, but may be interpreted as alpha / leader-like / hilarious / welcomed, if you are f…

The slight allusion that Iran is distrustful due to rational reasons, shows your own complete lack of knowledge of Iranian internal politics. Well without some sort of script or tested method, most people won't try it. Yes I realize it's an opportunity, but without experience you don't trust that the opportunity can be turned into something beneficial to you. For experienced individuals who do the work, they have tested things, they know what works, they know what doesn't. For inexperienced people, they don't know what works, they don't trust the idea/method because it is so alien to them. Or they execute it incorrectly, and they assu…

This is how men should start behaving to be honest. For some reason, some women feel they don't need to put out until they've made some sort of cosmic decision 3-4 dates later. It's about time women simply just gave it up as a fee to having a nice night out (if they want to continue relations), if it was truly successful night.

Definitely, to be honest, I think the word 'slut' is used wrongly in our society. It should neither be used for women who sleep with a lot of men, women who like sexuality, nor women who dress in revealing clothes. Such a woman is simply being nice. It should be used for women who demand to be treated like queens, with gifts and dinners-to-be-bought-every-time, for the exchange of sex.

No, CEOs are generally socially connected people. People who have leadership qualities, connections, and a genuine ability to manipulate/persuade others to their will. The psychopaths who become CEOs are generally the viciously manipulative kind that can also be a chameleon and pretend to care very much about everyone. So apathy is not what gets them where they are, apathy develops once they are there or were secretly hiding from others.

Men are more use to simply being open, blunt, and honest about what they think or their intentions, while women tend to try to hide what they want or don't want, and occasionally will give mixed signals (being very friendly, but then making excuses for proposals). I don't agree with this. There are rare cases where your argument wouldn't be correct: The woman unbeknown to the man, stops taking birth control. Well, I don't usually go for "I had to meet you" type of openings, because that sounds desperate or complete devaluing. It's like a compliment. You might as well have opened with "You're really hot girl.. What's your name?" But yes, the first few sentences you just said work pretty well. Though I would like for you to elaborate on how to "let her know you're just flirting" because for most people that would be the hard part.

That's actually really good. Continued: "No, wha? Where?" --- "*point opposite direction she walked from* That way, it was ridiculous, I was worried it was going to turn into a brawl, and I'd get arrested for choking a midget." (or say slapping, if you are less courageous; but if you say it in a serious manner it could come off creepy)." Then you can introduce yourself and ask about her.
/r/seduction25/01/11 10:53 PM

The standard direct opener you used... it seems so lame to me, immediate lowering of your value ('oh poor kid gets sad and lonely when he misses a chance to meet a pretty girl, let me give him a fake number' --- would be what I would have thought if I was a girl; although I'd probably be a very horny girl so you can say "bla" and I'd be like ok sure, unless you were particularly ugly or fat). On the other hand, if it is working for you, excellent job. That's pretty impressive.
/r/seduction25/01/11 10:50 PM
2

No, but it's not like they don't have ANY of the same logic. Do you see many hot girls hanging out with poor fat ugly slobs who dress weird? While all the techniques do have a lot to do with if you get the girl, looking somewhat decent helps a lot.
/r/seduction19/01/11 08:15 AM

But it is 100% about looks. When I imagine girls coming up to me and asking me out, and whether I would reject them, I always try to imagine a very ugly or fat girl approaching me, and I can't help but think, 'man, I would not go out with her no matter how desperate I was.' I feel very shallow about it, but still, I sense that this would be the same for many girls. I think it's delusional to think that looks don't matter. When you're really bad in the looks department, you have to make up for it…

Not to mention, a lot of people don't have approach anxiety, but they do have asking-out-anxiety too. This would be a good way to get over that too. Something I have sometimes, I'll talk to a beautiful girl, a health conversation for a few minutes, but I may not ask her number (I'll think to myself "Well she's in the same company, it might not be appropriate." Even better "I get to be the small spoon." The whole so confident that you can make fun of yourself philosophy. "By the way, I have a microscopic penis... wanna go back to my place?" It's a bit up front, but it reeks of overconfidence.

TofuTofu, I thank you for your great FRs... But can you please insert more dialog? A lot of times you skip some areas of dialog (or maybe cannot remember them), where many of us struggle most. I'd appreciate more examples, more tactics, and more dialog instead of just the general strategy you used. Example: What did you say to be cocky funny to people around you? The examples and dialog you already gave was really helpful! Thanks. Do want, moar.

Sure many men argue to win too. Regardless the rest of them are true. Yeah men do things like that too, especially with the example you cited. But generally, most men do not see rejection as 'girl being a bitch', that's just a generalization because every girl has met someone like that or a man who got defensive when rejected (doesn't mean their general attitude is like that)--cuz no one likes rejection. I know it's odd tho. My mom and some other women I know aren't like this (they actually are OK with getting advice etc and expect it). But this may be because of their higher degree college education, they tend to be a bit more logical.

And do not give advice or give comments or analyze the situation. Just say "good job" and move onto positive feelings. In fact, you don't have to listen, I guarantee you, you can be deaf and say "good job" when her mouth stops moving, and you will nail it. Exactly where in the blog post does it say women shouldn't have careers? Can you quote it for me? I'm serious, I don't see it. What here is anti-female? The blog post does seem to favor men a bit too much, but that isn't to say it is anti-female. I agree with only two things in your comment, that no one should be anti-female or anti-male---and that the blog poster shouldn't have said 'preference for men in hiring,' that doesn't make much sense, there shouldn't be preferences ever. In politics, it may not be acceptable to support a 'right or wrong' answer; a black and white answer is unacceptable. But in science, as in subjects about who is being harmed and who isn't. There is only one answer. Sexism is wrong, no matter who the target is. Fairness is objective, not subjective; it's only the perception of who is being treated fair or unfair that is subjective.

I wouldn't open with that. That only leads to their negative feelings. I believe it's a very negative opening, especially that you disagreed with that because to them, they think men are the same way (that they don't like advice either). You have to open with positive feelings. Yeah, but there is no law, that talks about manipulation of someone to commit a crime. There is however, a precedent in civil court about parental control/manipulation that can be used as evidence of brainwashing or a bad parent. Which then might be applied for other cases where brainwashing, lies, or manipulation can cause death. I forgot what it was called though. And I don't know if it has ever been used in criminal court.

Your analogies are inherently incorrect. A black man cannot change his skin. A black man receives equal treatment from racists, and his appearance makes no difference. Honestly, I don't think anyone would have sex with him, they'd be too afraid of finding themselves in an alley. This would work definitely, if you were to turn it around after the initial message and act completely normal. Or if you were to act like this in real life, because then their perceptions will be like blinders, attracted by real confiden…

Why would you care about her sensitivity? Or did you mean your ability to flat squeeze or something? I am mostly a visual person so the visual spherical shape for me is what does it, not some ability to squeeze or have it flop around like meat.

Yeah absolutely. This is why I stopped talking to the hot girl at work, she is so disconnected from reality or anything interesting. The fat girl at work though, man she talks for hours, it's hard to get rid of her, but she's not that bad, she really knows how to converse. Now if only we can get her thin really quick she would look really hot.

Haha, I was entertained by the quotes you used. That was the worst fail approach ever (I hope it wasn't a real experience for you rofl). But I get your point, it is definitely a good idea. I try to focus on feelings in my conversation. Like "What do you plan to do with your life.." Kind of philosophical topic trying to evoke emotion and get her talking. It's just very hard if a girl isn't the talkative type to get them to talk. I get really annoyed by people who have no input / thoughts to talk …

Actually when I talk to guys, I do slightly interrupt the train of thought and change subjects rapidly to various things, pull comments and thoughts, and then move onto new ideas and open multiple threads. I just don't do that with girls because I'm afraid it might be "talking too fast" or too complicated for most people's brains to comprehend.

That does definitely make sense. I guess the problem is remembering that I should remind her of these interests. When I converse, I usually converse in the flow of the conversation and find stories related, but I don't usually insert new almost irrelevant story points like you just described. But it's a good strategy.

HG10 for guys. And honestly many don't need cardio. If you're a beautiful women, HB7+, you have it easy. You can attract just about any guy unless he's just turned off by you in some way, which is impossible to do. If you're a beautiful guy, HB7+, you have to still struggle. If you're an ugly/fat girl though----that's where gender roles are truly unfair. It will really hurt you hard. So HB6-10 > HG1-10 > B1-5

Wait wait wait wait wait wait. It's true that girls don't like men who fake certain aspects of themselves but... This doesn't apply to women. If a girl tells me she has fake breasts, it actually turns me on. My ideal woman would have such implants. Going to a tannin salon etc, shows effort that you work on making your body look good. Obviously saying something about hygiene would be a turn off for anyone. But that shouldn't be equated to faking interests or learning techniques or exercising.

See this is what you can be very helpful with. Putting strict scientific definitions to abstract ideas that all girls seem to talk about. Example 'what makes a guy interesting?', I still do not understand this. Is the Dos Equis guy interesting to you? A good exercise I recommend (well you can tell me if it works for you or not), is before you go to a club, sit or lie down, and visualize an approach, and a fake conversation that lands you a phone number. The positive reinforcement and belief that this is very plausible scenario, may help you get over the AA for a bit. But hey, in the heat of the moment, everyone can have a sudden AA attack. It's similar to choking while playing a sport or game. It's when you feel self conscious. Like you're ab…

Actually that girl is exactly a 7 or 7.5, pretty accurate scaling there hehe. If she had a tan, better physique, and better hair, she could possibly even pass for a model. AA does suck indeed. Somehow you gotta get past it mentally and just go for it. That's what the 3-second rule is about. Once you pass it, and just approach sometimes it turns out it's easy and you feel good again. Of course the opposite situation where you crash and burn can really put a dent in self esteem too.

Yes, but you're giving lazy people who just want to manipulate others who haven't read the book an advantage. People should be judged on their arguments and ideas. Not their smile, confidence, manipulative attention to others. By including the principles and excluding the stories you let lazy people see the strategies while ignoring the why and the hidden results and consequences talked about in the book.
/r/seduction15/12/10 06:23 PM

This is not a good way to learn the subject. You HAVE to read the book, there's much more detail than the basic principles. Otherwise you're helping total creeps and idiots manipulate people. The books aim is to help people who are socially confused, not people who are generally bad.

Oh.. .Just beautiful advice. I believe that being in clans and using a mic, really did help me socially. I realized I was actually pretty popular once people get to know me. When a girl makes out with you, obviously, if she stops and says "Oh I can't, <excuses>" that's when you pull back, and open up your laptop and ignore her and make her feel awful. But if she's already making out with you, why bother pulling back? It may build attraction but it could also make her start thinking about what exactly she's doing with you... I actually don't ever truly use negs. I don't always go for 9/10s, but if I were to, then I might start trying to construct or find a list of negs etc. If I did hit on any 9/10s, I probably just teased them about something which is somewhat similar tactic. I agree, I can't imagine them doing this to every girl. For a lot of girls it would instantly turn them against you.
/r/seduction25/11/10 12:27 AM

I think for HB9/10s, the negs are the useful weapon of choice. It never works on normal women, and is kind of mean, but to the bubble women, it works because they are just not use to it. Do you agree with this?

With 9/10s, acting like you're their father, or talking them in that kind of tone, seems to do the trick. Anyone else experience anything like that? They don't always respond well to compliments or attention, to them giving them attention is like, showing them you're not worthy.

That's pretty low, by anyone's standards.' And then walked away without even trying to listen to their BS.

Your problem was, you weren't mad at her for knocking your drink. You laughed tried to say sorry, accident etc, no big deal. She saw you as a chump and took advantage of you. I'm basing that on what some books on PUA have said. In my experience, it can really depend, but definitely relationships sparked from common interest can be much stronger than sparked from drinking. Not really my style either, though I wouldn't mind it. It really depends on the girl and the situation. In certain cases you have to go really slow, for professionalism or due to environment. Depends on what you mean by spin plates. Do you mean you are in a relationship and cheat on your girlfriend consistently? Or do you mean that you know a bunch of girls, who you occasionally call for dating, but haven't yet established any sort of formal relationship. If you mean the second option, then that's what a lot of guys do. But the first one is much rarer, but also happens a lot.

An FR is not meant to embarrass or degrade anyone; it's meant to be educational. Being gamed is not some sort of rip off. You're exchanging something fun you both love. If it turns out you don't like him or you don't think he will want a relationship with you, then just stop answering his calls. You have all the power. If you …

There may be some issues. Maybe it isn't just that your conversation sucks, but it could be. I think a good way we can solve this is, if you upload a youtube video of yourself, describing something important. Telling us a story ANY story. From this we can gather what kind of personality you have, and what you look like (be sure to dress up as if you are going out to a party to pick up chicks), so we can also judge what you look like and whether there's something seriously wrong. If you're too em…

But the spinning plates etc, are usually rare, and exclusively for the complete master who has no care about women. That's not all PUAs or even all guys. Yes the actions/behaviors are there for what you said, but only because so many guys become AFC, in that no matter what they try, they get friendzoned, or used, or not thought of in that kind of way. In contrast for girls, they are always thought of in THAT way.

There's a huge difference though, if a woman threw herself at me, if I like her I'd accept immediately. I don't need her to play "hard to get", if she plays "hard to get", then I will immediately NEXT. In contrast, if I threw myself at a woman, most of the time it won't work. And I don't even play that much 'hard to get' either. Neither do the PUA guides ever recommend that. They recommend a psychological tactic of being scarce and rare (so that you look like you're more important than her).

Hmm I guess he failed at that hehe. Thought he married her.

Sometime in dates, there comes a point where you have to stop trying so hard and wait for her to come to you. In your case, that was quite a while ago, where you needed to let her come to you and stop letting her command the situation / direction of anything. If she truly cared a lot for you, she would have done more, instead the ex-boyfriend keeps appearing.

They would actually agree that most of it works. The only thing they probably won't agree with is, 'negging', because no one likes to think of themselves as enjoying being insulted. I actually don't think there is a huge effectiveness of negging either, maybe to girls who are constantly smothered with compliments, but it won't always work.

I don't dig it. Theoretically there could be men that dig it. Mainly the finger thing because of the fact that it will create pleasure, but the nipple shiit won't have any effect on most men.

Not true that The Game is only about casual sex. Many people use the game to eventually find a girl they love and marry. In fact, the author of The Game, eventually married a girl. In fact, in his book, the author describes a character who uses seduction and he hopes will find love and stay in a marriage forever--to give hope to the rest of humanity. You're right though---The Rules != The Game But not because of the reasons you're thinking. The Game is a bunch of rules that help you seduce or fi…

I think it's completely the opposite. No matter how many clubs I joined in college, no matter how many parties I went to, getting dates was much harder. Everyone is in cliques and refuses to make new friends. Everyone is very introverted and it's hard to make friends in college (but only because of close proximity of people our own age, it becomes easy for most). In contrast, after I got a job, and started working, I make way more friends and can hang out with people way more. People are much mo…

I think when you're older the easier it becomes because older women are more desperate and more up front about what they want. And when you're young, you're moving around a lot, and trying to settle on a good job and stability, so it's harder to stay connected with any girl. Might be a bit easier once you're around 25-35, and then it begins a decline.

To add to your point evenless, female sedditors probably read about some tricks so they aren't seduced too easily. (some girls [not talking about you even], might have even been in one-night-stand, and didn't understand why; maybe they were a victim of Barney). The other thing is, women also have game. They also have their own PUAs when they don't know how to approach men. Sometimes they might want to attract a specific guy they want, but they don't know how to do it, and their regular bag of tr…

Np, I can't believe I demolished his name so bad. I always think his name is Frank for whatever reason, maybe because both Frank Sinatra and David Zayas character always wear the cool 50s hats--maybe that's where the confusion came from. He's also in that new skyline movie that's coming out next week.

Well yeah, but when you do that, you have to keep escalating. Escalating till you get a 'no' or 'no thx.' But starting off friendly makes it easier and makes her more comfortable and getting use to that idea. Friendly manner gets the shields down, and then you start escalating rapidly. Or at least ask her out, which is not really a PUA type thing to do, but if you don't think you can close and seal the deal immediately.

Oh yeah. My biggest problem is that girls think I'm TOO YOUNG... Yeah wtf. I sometimes look like I'm 18 when I'm 21. But I think wearing specific clothing helps a bit and letting the 5 oclock shadow grow out a bit. But I think it's hard for a 52 year old to try and get hookups at a college town.

That's what I meant. I agree with you absolutely. Yeah ugly and fat guys can land some hot women. But they have to have some sort of extra X factor. Think David Zayas, he's fat, and he's not particularly handsome, but he has such a jazzy coolness and a great fashion sense (even if a little weird) and a deep sexy voice, and it works for him (but again he's an actor so we can never know if his shit would really work). He's just awesome.

I know, how can you do kino, or show any interest around other friends, it's like getting friendzoned instantly. Not to mention you invite new risk, because a friend of hers may not like you--or maybe expose something of you that isn't attractive. Shoulda left hours ago actually. In fact, some PUAs suggest you should leave the date early (like you plan to meet her for coffee, then you have a drink with her for 30 minutes, then you say you got a meeting to go to.) It's not my style, but it does w…

funky, a first date is not to be used as a mechanism for her to control where you go. You have to control the situation and make the plans. Some people prefer to take girls to various different places but places THEY know, without others interfering, isolating her with you in different environments. IF a girl was like "oh please can we go to this one place my friends are at?", I might say yes, but I would prefer not to, I'll suggest new plans. But let's say, I had a moment of weakness, and went …

Yeah, people get this anxiety of 'oh i'm gonna be a V forever' etc, but the reality is, this is not a race and no ones gonna give you a medal for it. If it happens it happens. If you keep thinking about it as a "chance" rather than an "opportunity" you will never be calm.

Excellent stuff. I totally agree. IF you still feel you are needy though, I'd recommend, pretending you are someone who you know is not like that. At least, pretend that you are different and you are doing an experiment, and in an experiment you don't know the results and you don't try to predict them. Just try them.

That's the spirit. As you know, you can say 'hello' to 200 girls without any idea of what to say next, and at least 20 of them may come home. I too should probably give flirt some more tries. I'm not skilled at it. I prefer to just be myself and have a pleasant conversation, but it won't always get the IOIs.

What about the philosophy of opening with a cheesy line and then laughing together about it. It would be something to talk about. one of the biggest problems with talking to women or even just strangers, is that you don't know what to talk about or how to get the conversation from point A (opening line) to point B (I'm interested in you, will you come home with me?). Doesn't matter what you say, as it has been written in The Game. As long as you say it with confidence and show your interest, and…

I'm sorry I can't be much help, but maybe flirting just ain't your thing. I actually don't usually flirt with girls, I simply make jokes, but I don't make those silly flirt jokes or childish games with the girls. I try to give off a more manly vibe and use other forms of showing my interest.

Most of these will get you a harassment suit at work hehe. Maybe better for a bar or other venue. Some of it was creepy. Smelling and shiit is pretty creepy unless you're dancing in a club. Caressing her thighs unless you know she wants it can be reaaaally creepy. haha, this one especially can get you in trouble: Pushing her/holding her up against a wall I think an easier way to go from a friendly manner to a sexual interest manner, is to start with a hug and increase the sensuality of the hug o…

I think more important techniques to discuss would be the other things said in the script. The name hiding thing might just be icing on the cake. My name is not very average. If I were to hide it a bit and then play games like 'oh did you ask?' She might think I'm trying to hide it, ashamed of my name, or she might think I gave her a fake name (which may add to mystery but could also panic her into going to tangents like, "what if he's a criminal"), I'd rather her be focused on the conversation …

Yeah but, if you withhold your name, she may never be able to contact you again. By withholding your name, you are behaving as an acquaintance rather than a potential friend. It may be mysterious, but seriously, how mysterious can you possibly be? No chick goes to her girlfriend and says "that guy was so mysterious, I didn't even know what his name was." Even if they did, guess what, you'll never meet her again because she won't even associate you with a name, and won't even remember you. By not…

There's no harm actually. I haven't tried it yet because I'm currently focused on my strength training and don't feel absolutely confident yet. I'm more practicing at bars and parties for the moment, but not really committing to finding a girl.

It works wonders if you have high levels of confidence and really good looks. But try doing that as a fat ugly guy. It simply won't work no matter what your confidence (except on fat ugly chicks).

I agree that giving out a number as a guy, is a bad idea as you said. However, I disagree that you shouldn't give out your name. You can come off really bad if you don't introduce yourself within the first few minutes. Some of them will be shy enough to not ask your name. You WANT to telegraph your interest, so that she's comfortable enough to show her interest without her having any fear of rejection. You're taking that fear away.

He's gotta point. If you're looking specifically for a certain interesting type of girl, then yeah. I'm more into looking for someone generally smart enough, i.e., not dumb, works on her body, and decent looking, I'm OK if they have different interests so I haven't tried much of the online dating yet. I don't agree. Lowering standards for crappy girls will lead you to get someone clingy. It's pretty risky if she really likes you and is crazy/insane. For the first time, lower standards? What is this, a math problem? You gotta start easy and work up? Nah, it's all the same, you don't have to pretend by being a virgin you are some second class citizen or some inexperienced buffoon. Go out and find a good girl, hit on the hot girls first; you never know. It's not rocket science, you don't have to…

Yeah, I mean, I can't classify myself. I have an intense fear of rejection, and I always have this voice in my head thinking what if someone thinks this of me, etc. But maybe that's all normal. Maybe this introvert extrovert thing is just an illusion. It's there in some people with differing degrees due to a combination of genetics and psychology of upbringing and personal experiences. Am I completely wrong? You're telling me, you've never had an enjoyable social experience? Or to the extrovert,…

I second that. You can change it up on her, but if you change too abruptly and it's something she's not comfortable with, there's a chance she might chicken out and find some excuse. I recommend doing something expected like coffee but not in a noisy starbucks, some place quieter and more alone. Dinner may be too much, but a lunch or something, wouldn't be too bad, just be careful for the food choice. Mini-golf as people mentioned might be a great idea. I just never played golf and I don't quite…

I have a theory and tell me if I'm wrong. When you have confidence and begin to have fun in social situations I think you become an extrovert. However, in long periods of isolation and bad social situations I think you become more of an introvert. I simply don't believe it is static. Sometimes I feel very energetic in social situations (big happy hours and parties with co-workers etc). Other times, I feel horrible and hate it (clubs and parties full of strangers).
