TL:DR If you aren't signalling sexual intent: the woman will either not infer it and orbiter status you; or the more aware woman will despite knowing your true intent orbiter status you anyways, cause that's what chicks do. Thus, signal sexual intent from the start. The barber analogy is stupid, if followed it tells us that humans should never conceal intent.
