When you make a man crawl youre just a bully who has to dominate others to exist. Just like all those men who beat women. Now youve done the same thing but perhaps without physical violence. Using feminism as your excuse will not make you a good person. Youre just a petty bully. You should grow the fuck up, look in the mirror and start the long journey of becoming a better person. Heres a hint: it doesnt feel as good on your ego.

This is just red pill garbage. It leans on the idea that men have to "win" sex from women like its our ultimate goal in life. It adds to the notion that approval from women is the ultimate endorsement and therefore the only thing that matters for men. It adds to the idea that social norma and group dynamics are more important than anything else. Instead of listening and valuing different perspectives he is just pushing his pick up artist philosophy.

If we work hard for the cause someday in the distant future we will have a life without discomfort.

This is dumb. Stop expecting the world to do you favors. Take a risk for once.

yeah I mean, acknowledging that yahoo answers is not a great source of info I agree. This highlights the many many experiences I've had being the one who gets the short end of the emotional stick because I'm the man. For example, when my mother emotional terrorized me growing up. I was and still am basically considered to be ungrateful because I couldn't man up and support her... as a 13 year old. Now that I have the strength to be my own man I can be friends with her. However, I never really go…

It just fucking irks me sometimes that women can feel so entitled.

yes exactly. I honestly think this will be more common as universities have begun caving to student's demands to make their colleges safe spaces. These kids will expect the state to monitor and protect them from anyone, especially themselves.

If anything it's a societal problem of always expecting the guy to make moves. It doesn't make him a rapist because he makes the move, it makes him vulnerable to being accused of one later on.

This was in downtown Portland too. My coworker came in the office during lunch break and said "there's some people protesting circumcision in the square." there was a pregnant pause... and then someone was like "I think that's great." and then everyone started talking about how they liked it. It was funny because none of us knew if we were the only one who thought that until the protest.

I too had a mother who was abusive. In fact this poster is funny because it goes both ways. A narcissistic partner may also put pressure on you for sex. If you're like me, I don't do well with emotional pressure. I practically grew up under constant emotional pressure to perform emotionally for my mother. I developed really strong defense against being guilted into things. I had a gf who would turn me down night after night and wait until I would give in and masterbate. Then she would ask for se…

Sofia Coppola has been one of my favorite directors. Even though she was born into the industry, let's celebrate her more. Her films are more meaningful and the fact that she directed a good movie is so much more important than this pile of crap. Bad feminism makes fake progress (regression).

I think his kind of thinking is the real problem. I stand with you and I appreciate your post, OP. The only way to achieve real equality is to share our experiences and listen with an open heart.

Did you read the rest of the post? I go on to explain that it does have something to do with it but ultimately its not your wife's fault your unhappy. By extension it's not feminisms fault that she's acting like that. Though I can't deny those aren't factors. We talk about the agency of women being ignored in favor of society-wide excuses for behavior(sexual assault, domestic violence) all the time on /r/mensrights. Why do we have to stoop that shit on here?

This is what I've been trying to say to feminists in my life. I try to say "don't you think feminism needs to take more responsibility for the bad feminism out there?" They always come back with "there is always more radical parts of social movements. That shouldn't discredit us." I come back and say "yeah radical but what about just like... evil and opportunistic people that are trying to make money off of your quest for equality?" Then they try to bait me into pointing out a specific article. …

Honestly it sounds like this guy is just unhappy with his life in general. Blaming the fact that you hate your job on your wife doesn't sound healthy to me. You are an adult and ultimately the one who decides what you do. Maybe cut down on your spending, maybe take some time to go back to school (yes even if you get into debt.) Take a risk, decide for yourself that you want to sure up your finances and spending so that financial ruin isn't such an easy thing to fall into. Maybe identify in yours…

Im afraid to talk to women most of the time. Im just scared that they wont like me and itll hurt my ego. Im just learning to deal with it and also learn to deal with the fact that I wont ever be the kind of guy who can "pick up chicks". Sure that makes me a wuss, but I know that ive had great relationships just from meeting friends of friends. Its the random stranger thing that is the most intimidating and the least fun. It feels so unnatural. It feels creepy and needy. I know there are lots of …
