4	Alpha Validation versus Beta Validation That’s actually worth a thought. I believe the argument (two forms of validation) holds true as to my own experience. I also think that they are NOT tied to alpha or beta males; alphas just happen to be more likely to provide sexual validation. So the question becomes what the goal is; but if you’re out for a LTR the woman needs to be able to feel reassured in both areas — and it might be the man, another man or (in the security case) even herself who provides that reassurance.
