She took my money, I took her phone, but I never wanted to steal her phone and keep it." This guy considered buying her a drink - and her not buying him one - "stealing." Had he not encountered a woman who expects free drinks in his 32 years? It angered him enough to get arrested over it? Maybe it's ok to feel smug once in a while No - you (we) need to be the better person at all times, because that leaves no opening to point to and say "look how immature and misogynistic this group is." In my reading, the linked article didn't present any information beyond two immature 21 year olds, both unable to forthrightly deal with a problem; extrapolating gender stereotypes into it (in either or both direction/s) would be wrong, as we're dealing with one anecdotal situation here, and by linking to the article in 'mensrights' we are informed of which side we're supposed to take.
