I can totally understand you in the first summer it was almost the same for me. Try to visit friends or family and do something with them. And on the second note, I trie to do it like Keanu Reeves, who is completely good with being on his own.

No, I’m from Germany and I don’t care about religion or stuff - it just should work. I mean respect for the beliefs of the other for the hobbies of the other for the job of the other for the likes and dislikes of the other. And I really don’t think that it really depends on the country where the woman or the man comes from. Be careful with women from eastern countries sometimes they just pretend to love you, marry you and after the time where they can stay in your country they will leave you. Ha…

I was fucked up by my wife and lost all my money and now I don’t even wanna go dating although I’m in Europe. I think it takes time. What a good friend told me: “if you search too much you won’t find anything. If you don’t search you will find a good thing.”

It will get better! It sure will get better! And you have to believe it! And you can also believe it! I had a very dark time for almost 1 1/2 years and then woke up. Reach out to your friends try to do something enjoying nature or going to a bar.

I am in Germany. I don’t know if this applies to most of you here! Short story : I didn’t own it long enough so there was no measure monetary gain for both of us. And as it was gifted to me from my parents, she couldn’t take it. She lived there as a tenant for the time I was in my parents weekend home but she did so many wrong things I don’t want to repeat here that we could throw her out with court order.

It was always in my name and I had to fight a legal battle to get her out. Fortunately, she made some mistakes.

It is totally clear for me, but in case of having a silver bullet divorce, you have a totally other story going on.

Different here! my kids hate me because the mother told them! Fight with her when the kids don’t see/hear it! DO NOT accommodate all her bullshit! Contact the kids but if they want no contact there is time! Depends on age of kids! And think!!!!! I mean thinking deep about this all… and the circumstances… Guys that is not a singular answerable thing! But best advice OP GIVES: do not remarry! Be careful wirh girlfriend with kids - just be a friend for the kids no dad! Sorry rambling

Yeah me too! And I got so many hobbies and a fulfilling job that is my dreamjob and friends and family (my side) my time is again starting to be filled with fun and happiness again. The physical things in a relationship or with a FWB I’m really not much interested. Still sometimes horny af but as we all know: the internet was made for pron ;-))

I’m happy for you! Enjoy it! I hope I feel the same when it’s finally done! I’m still waiting for my divorce! And in the meantime, my wife took everything I owned and I have to live with my parents again at age 51

My wife tried to get me declared insane (luckyly didn’t work) and talked the kids into not talking with me. And I haven’t seen them since almost 2 years. The rest is almost like your story. I have almost nothing left and in the beginning I had the same homicidal and suicidal thoughts, but a lot of talking with good friends help me get over this. Sorry if my wording isn’t correct English is not my first language.

My ex wife took almost all I had, would be homeless if not for my parents… Had the same experience like you! Almost no support for men! I have always been a supporter for women rights but slowly I think there is a gap regarding divorce and custody… what I learned from some of my friends in similar situations, is that almost always women get more. Would like to write more, but I’m really exhausted since my divorce is still pending and I’m out of energy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
