haha nice; whats your go-to for approaching at parks? my luck with cold approaching since covid is next to zilch since i live in a pretty crazy liberal town where everyone has a mask on 24/7 even walking alone in parks and if you even approach someone to talk them they back away like youre going to eat them or some shit, which is the reason i turned back to apps

one of the rules of power... always move forward with boldness. any fragility or doubt in yourself or your plan and people will see it as weakness or awkwardness. even if you do approach an 18 year old at 36, who the fuck cares. worst that happens is she says no. some of them are into that shit. call her little girl and make her call you daddy and she'll do anything you want.

Yea I guess I have to internalize it as shit test like any other... I'm just so used to hearing it and assuming it's them being polite while trying to say "i'm not interested" so I usually just shut down after it and try to get out of the situation. I wont do that anymore.

Eventually thats the end goal of going to college, but Im still a ways off. I know im probably not going to get rich while going to school still but Im tired of wearing the same clothes and driving the same old beat up car and turning my friends down for a night out or even worse not even being able to pay for going to the dentist because i barely makr anything while in school. After school once I have a degree and a career is one thing but what about the many years between now and then? Am I me…

Good advice, will try. Although I've heard they prepped their algorithm to spot google voice numbers, but not sure if that's verified or not.

LOL came here to say just that. Read this whole post as "Finally lost my virginity, are u proud of me boyz?" I've gotten catfished from Tinder 3 times by land whales, as soon as I saw them I turned, walked out, and instantly deleted all contacts. Catfishes deserve no sympathy or you just encourage them to keep doing it and keep getting fatter. Also I never meet Tinder girls for dates. It's her place or my place or we aren't meeting.

Doing dips is fine but if you're going to start considering the bench press a second tier exercise I don't know what to tell you. When you workout your chest, there's different motions that activate different parts of it. Fixed-hand position exercises like dips and bench will never be able to get the same contraction of the muscle that an exercise like a crossover does. They're both good for different things. If you don't want to do them, live your life, but coming from a bodybuilding standpoint…

I'm 5'9, 190. Probably 10-15% BF, gonna start a cut in January to hit below 10. I do working sets of bench, squat, dead, (standing)overhead all 6 reps x 4 sets at 245, 315, 405, 150 respectively. Those could be a lot higher, but I have a bad habit of taking months off at a time and always lose all my strength. Not going to make that mistake again though.

It's possible he does juice, just making an observation. I'm with you though, I've been lifting for years natty and still can't put up 3 plates on a bench at 190 myself. It's hard not to be tempted...
/r/TheRedPill14/11/18 11:35 PM

Coming from a natty bodybuilder of on and off for 10ish years, don't replace bench with dips. You want to use them in conjunction with each other. Flat bench for overall strength and the middle chest fibers, incline bench for the top ones, and dips for the lower fibers. You want to hit all 3 if you want your chest to really grow. Supplement those combination press movements with isolations like cable crossovers, again changing the angle to hit all three parts of the chest muscles. Also, you can …

UPpwrliftr, I think he's natty but he only trains bench, and he does like 3 times a week since he's been in high school. He literally doesn't do anything else. So it probably is possible if he's dedicating all his time and energy into just increasing that one lift. On the other hand there's dudes like Clarence Kennedy, who only weighs like 200 but fucking power cleans 500 off the floor; and squats like 700, deads over 800, bench almost 500...

My advice: fuck tinder and don't even waste your time, energy, and especially don't fucking put your money into equipment specifically for it. All tinder is is a bunch of attention and validation whores, low value, low IQ goons, and catfishes. The only guys who are going to see success with the small <10% of girls on Tinder that are actually hot and/or have a brain are going to be model types and let's face it, most of you aren't. Get out into the real world where you'll find normal, attractive …

Once you start seeing real results it will be all the motivation you need. Most people come at a fault when they start working out because they see all these roided up Instagram models and shit telling them to follow their zOmg 6-week program to a perfect body! And then when they realize it takes much longer than 6 weeks especially as a natural they give up. Don't be that person. If it was easy, everybody would be ripped. If you lose motivation, go watch a hype video on youtube or listen to some…

Who's bullying anyone? If you've read any of my other posts in this thread you'd see I'm usually the person diffusing tense situations and am a firm believer that fist fights are for professional fighters and teenagers. They mean nothing to anyone with a brain.

It's hilarious the things you guys choose to nitpick out of the 400+ comments on threads. You're probably right, I might be off but I also don't see that many 6'8 dudes to compare to. Either way it's up to him if he wants to cut or bulk, doesn't really matter which way you go first if you're just starting and aren't morbidly obese.

"Top 5% here and I rarely see reactions from the girls you are talking about." no amount of being buff is going to make up for being ugly, having gross hygiene, or being an idiot.

Sounds like a bullshit study. What were the heights and bone structures of the participants? What were their diets? Ages? Different genders..? If you feel like lifting is a waste of time, then don't do it. But don't discourage others from it because you read one nonsense study on the interwebz.

Comapring yourself to others is the only way to know what your competition is. How do I separate myself from all the other 90% of guys if I'm not judgeing what's wrong and what's right? There's absolutely nothing wrong with my 'mental' game.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make? There's no 'state of anxiety'. It's the same purpose as having condoms, you might not use them but it's better to have it when you need it than to not when you do. I've had my 1911 for 5 years and have never had to use it once. Stop being a dumbass.

Why do people keep bringing up fighting on a thread about lifting.. like.. no one cares man. If you want to write your own thread about it then you have the freedom to. And since you keep bringing up guns while your on your unwarranted and unwanted rant I really don't know why you think your fists are going to save you from a glock.

"execute" is not the same as defending yourself. It's called the stand your ground law here in the south, and its perfectly legal if you feel your life is in danger.

Go to jail? If you're defending yourself, especially in our red southern states, you have every right to blast someone. Getting into fist fights is what's going to get you hurt and/or sent to jail. Fist fights are for kids and professional MMA fighters.
/r/TheRedPill24/09/18 01:58 AM

Exactly, only saying that because something is an alleged standard still doesn't mean it's worse off unless maybe you're on the extreme left of that standard.

Says the triggered guy argueing with random people on the internet over the merit of whether its worth it or not to risk getting your teeth knocked out and/or going to jail just because you think you're a tough guy. Get lost.

Whatever your opinion, there's no reason for it in a discussion on lifting. Especially when here in the south, as someone else stated, if you do that shit, you're probably getting blasted. I forget sometimes there's teenagers on here.

You can make excuses for things you can't change all day, or you can go out and make due with the things you can. Like I said, I'm 5'8 too and are there some girls who are just double-standardist bishes? Of course there are are. But barring the handful of extreme brats I've never had a problem.
/r/TheRedPill24/09/18 12:12 AM

Do what you want but we aren't talking about any 'superficial standards'. It's been proven time and time again that biologically, not 'societally', not 'superficially', that girls prefer guys who look like they can defend them. You can deny it all you want, I'll be too busy banging some 9 to care.
/r/TheRedPill24/09/18 12:06 AM
56

Funny how people think 5'8 is short. 5'8 being short is spoon fed media bullshit and girls trying to shit-test you. I'm 5'8 too and I'm still taller than most guys in a crowded hallway. Are there lots of taller guys? Of course. Just like there's lots of shorter women who don't care if you're 5'8 or 7'0. They'll take the 5'8 buff guy with the alpha attitude and intelligence over the 7'0 weak beta moron any day.
/r/TheRedPill24/09/18 12:02 AM
11

Agreed. I never lift anymore with the end goal being fighting. It's redundant. Violence is pretty pointless in almost all situations that aren't self-defense, in which case I'm a very strong 2nd amendment supporter. I'm not risking anything because some idiot wants a fist fight to stoke his ego. Part of my experience here has taught me more than wanting to fight people is to be able to have the self-awareness and stoicism to diffuse fights, not instigate them.
/r/TheRedPill23/09/18 11:32 PM

You probably have some decent muscle under all that mass. It depends on your goals, but personally I would cut down to the BF% you want then do a clean bulk. Find out how many calories you need to eat for your size, simply eat less than that, making sure you get 1g protein/1lb bodyweight, and go fucking lift.
/r/TheRedPill23/09/18 11:26 PM
24

You certainly can, it's insane. I feel bad for the people who never get to experience the same level of respect. I've always wanted to try gear even if just for a single cycle to see how I react, but never have come by the opportunity, yet.

No joke brother. Whether it's corny pick-up lines with girls, to just being a dick to other people, what would have been cringey before suddenly everyone finds it funny and attractive. Maybe its the confidence boost that comes with the gains rather than the gains themself, but there's merit to having both. The amount of shit I've been able to get away with in social settings because people were too intimidated to even say anything has been priceless.
/r/TheRedPill23/09/18 11:20 PM
22

What about it? Stop with the what-if bullshit. We don't have time for that here.
/r/TheRedPill23/09/18 11:17 PM

Everyone has different goals. I actually took that mentality myself when I first started lifting. Then time went on and I realized I wasn't a kid anymore and life wasn't about pretending I could beat everyone up. Sure it helps if you could when the time arises, but unless you're an MMA fighter or a boxer, etc, which I'm personally not, then I'm already stronger and more able to defend myself than the majority of goons out there anyway and I look good.

Not sure what the question is? I say contemplate because I know there's side effects, and it's expensive as fuck, but on the other side of the coin by all accounts I've found all its done for people who use them (use, not abuse) is make their life better. They're bigger, stronger, top 1% of guys, I've even heard of some dudes never even wanting to get in to bodybuilding or modeling or anything but suddenly they started gearing up and the companies started coming to them and now they're sitting p…

I see all these people on here talking about violence and fighting and shit, and sure being buff isn't going to help you if you get shot (actually in some cases it does indeed) in the heart, but it certainly helps you live your life much better until the day you do end up dying. Isn't that the whole point? Or are you going to sit in your room all day everyday because your afraid someones going to fucking knife you..? After a string of break ups, girls cheating on me, feeling like I was lost in life, 3 years ago I stumbled on to the red pill. I dont remember now how I did, but Im glad I did. Some days this feels like the only place where you can talk about any topic, not just sexual strategy, and get logical, rational, and well thought out discussion. "Basic bitches" flock to tinder because it's simply a way to validate themselves in their looks and beliefs. Looks meaning they feel special when they show their bff they have 90000 tinder matches, and beliefs meaning they basically treat it as a game where they assume that every guy on there is a dull fuckboy and the only time they even answer messages is to irrationally attack people so they can post it to the gramz cuz theyre strong indepent womon. They seem so rampant on there as opposed to …
