Are there any posts or other resources that you can recommend on what submission actually looks like in a relationship, with day to day mundane kind of examples? I understand how important it is, and I want to implement it in our relationship, but I need some examples to get me started on the right path. Thank you in advance!

Hey I just want to say you are amazing and courageous to decide on this difficult path! It is truly the right one, and that is why it is harder. We are asked to walk the narrow road even though it is more difficult. Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. - Matthew 7:13-14 My heart just goes out to you and I will pray for yo…

Don’t end your friendships, you are at different phases of life and it is natural to drift a little. Just make some married friends as well!

Mother’s will often be harder. See from her point of view. She doesn’t know you and she wants her son to have the best life (and wife!) he possibly can. I am not judging your age gap, as my relationship is very similar gap. I just want to warn you that they may have questions about it so make sure you have a kind and understanding response ready for potential questions on that topic. All the best and god bless. The greatest blessing to your future husband and his family is a kind and humble wife…

Be realistic. You are seeing what you want to see. It is hard to step back and see what is truth. He is using you for an ego boost and entertainment because he is bored in his relationships

You are on the right track! Church will really help. Jesus Christ washes away all our sins and makes us new again. The perfect clean slate and fresh start

No I moved in my my boyfriend before becoming rp but I regret it now. I love him and we plan to marry but it has made it harder and is against gods will which is so hard for me since I have come back to the church in the last year. Don’t do it! Wait for the ring

That’s honestly a good question. I wouldn’t make a decision either way without respectful and thorough discussion first. In my situation I am lucky enough the the great majority of our beliefs align, and we have always been able to have respectful, often insightful and stimulating conversations about our beliefs and politics. I believe that any change of view on his part would be backed by a very compelling logical reason that he would be able to explain to me, and I may even end up changing my …

I have resolved to vote from now on in the same way as my partner. I respect his views and leadership. However I believe this is a personal choice and not something that should be legislated

OP please any guidance if your man is perfect in every way except he has a low sex drive due in part to stress from work- I.e. something I can’t really do anything about! There are not many jobs in our town and he gets paid very well so he can’t even change it. I initiate sex almost every time so there’s no gatekeeping to be done! Should I try to make myself more attractive? I could do with losing some weight as I am a size 14. Any other suggestions? I am working hard and making strides in being…

Yes please! As long as it is wholesome and focussed of elegance and not the “sex sells” mentality. I would love old fashioned recipes and cleaning tips too! Also anything with modest fashion tips (by today’s standards anyway) that are practical and stylish is so hard to come by and would be awesome!

That is a huge breakthrough and blessing that he told you that. I would be so grateful if mine would give me basically a checklist of things to fix to make him happier! It is hard to hear but it is a huge blessing

A clean house is not a destination or a finished product, it is a constant journey, and a work of art that is never finished. 1- newspaper and methylated spirits and a lot of elbow-grease (scrubbing) 2- Remember it’s a work in progress! Relax into the fact that it will never be “done” and that’s okay and normal. Every time you leave a room look around and find something that belongs in a different room and put it back. 3- it’s called lime scale, find a specific lime scale cleaner, nothing else w…

I am also working hard on these things and I have come a long way from being taught as a child that being headstrong, stubborn and argumentative were virtues, so just know that if I can do it you sure can! Feel free to message me if you want to talk about it with someone with a similar struggle
