what you read on some subreddit does not reflect an entire generation... it's just some random douchebag whining and encouraging others to chime in

The first tip is you have to override the natural block we all have, where we tell ourselves "if I try to initiate and fail, that will be the end of the world." You have to say "fuck that, if I fail, so what... I'll just move on and try again later." Because if you can get past that fear of failure, and keep making attempts, you will succeed here and there... you will find women who want to talk to you, regardless of whatever it was you said to start things. Certainly you will fail too... but th…

dude should not have included that in his comment, which was otherwise great. The whole point here is first you have to learn how to have conversations that you are not trying to steer to sex.. conversations where your only goal is to connect in the moment, not move on to a bedroom. Because ironically enough, these are the conversations that you can steer to sex once you get good at them. But you have to learn the connection part first. It's like a Buddhist koan or something, where the way to ge…

She was likely thinking "platonic hang out" from the start, But this is not a failure on your part... the good news is she was willing to hang out at all, which speaks well of how you're presenting yourself and eng…

The idea of being charismatic with everyone, not just with women you are attracted to, is so key... it works on so many levels: you get way more opportunities to sharpen your social skills - to learn what works and what doesn't it's easier to sharpen those skills when you don't have any agenda complicating things the lack of agenda helps you see what you're doing wrong when you do have an agenda better skills with everyone increases your social value and your confidence, two huge components of a…

Dude this is important insight right here. People who cringe when astrology comes up in conversation (or any psychic stuff, or religion) miss the point that it doesn't have to be valid to be valuable. I don't believe in any of that stuff, but still I recognize that it's valuable because it opens the doors to those deep topics you mention, which are conversational gold.
