It shouldn't "grind your gears", they're not saying it because they doubt your stature. They're saying it because they don't want you to pick them up or they think they're too heavy to be picked up by anyone. I guess a "comeback" would be, "Really? 9	Is it a good idea to hit on women in the university dining hall? Girls are always on the lookout for a cute guy pretty much anywhere on campus. Especially freshman girls. Talk to them at the dining hall, talk to them during classes, even at parties with your friends just talk to them lol. Don't worry about each specific girl cause some will for sure shut you down.
