They were usually the more developed characters though. These I think were supposed to be movies for girls. Both the female and male stereotypes are negative and "old-fashioned" and I think both critical images are valuable.

It seems like donkeys would be ill-equipped for surviving in swamps due to their pointy hooves. If they had swamp donkey flippers then that would be more plausible. Either way, "swamp donkey" is amusing to say out loud.

I'm pretty sure she meant 1/3 women are sexually assaulted or harrassed- that's what I remember.

There are bad and good feminists, in my experience. Personally, I'm into equalism.

As a woman, agreed. Also, its pretty repetitive.

No, its different to talk to them openly, possibly with someone as a court witness or something. Brainwashing them agains their mother is wrong and also obviously detrimental to his case.

Ah shit... yeah. Its just that I was the daughter in a similar situation- my mother was telling me a load of BS about my father and coaching and brainwashing me during a strung out custody battle. I just wish he had been a little less of a good person and told me more of the truth about her. It was traumatic either way but dads get fucked- less so now but still. But I don't think men or women should get special consideration.

Talk to your daughters- its your only hope.

Seconded by a woman... uggghh, thinking about someone dictating whether or not I mother my fetus makes me shiver Yes men need more reproductive rights but the woman carries the baby and is inside of her- there's got to be a better way to do this!!

Yeah, I think you're probably right.

Yes but there's a difference between getting a negative reaction (or a bitchy reaction) and getting labeled as a sexual "harrasser". Rejection is natural, especially by women who think they have a lot of options.

Yes but unpleasant verbal contact like, "may I buy you a drink" is hardly sexual harrassment, especially in say a bar context. I think you'd have to have some other issues if you are too scared to ask a woman if she wants a drink in a bar for fear of being labeled a "harraser", especially if you are polite and non-insistent if she is disinterested. If you run up to random people flailing your arms in the street going "OMG BABY I CAN HAS BUYING YOU A DRINK, TITTIES" then it would be pretty ridicu…

Who expects a 100% success rate? What kind of wrong reaction? That's pretty much the only way I'd be receptive, as a woman. P.S. Its funny I get downvoted for asking a non-cynical important question.

Excuse me for asking an honest question but when did flirting automatically equal overt sexual innuendo? Men can hit on a woman perfectly well without making it obscene and creepy. Is there something wrong with being accommodating and nice and not bullish?

I'm not telling you that it personally offends me, just that it is an offensive term, in case you were unaware. I am used to it, and I am also used to rude assholes, fyi.

Well, I would say that basically observing a wide variety of women closely and making friends and learning about them in a non-dating manner is your best bet- mainly knowledge is the most important thing you have against this. Because manipulative and vicious people (women included) are your worst enemy and will seek to ruin your life because that's just how fucked up they are- knowledge is the best weapon. Of course, there are always those assholes who are great pretenders that you will occasio…

I think the part about, "...stealth, covert manipulations of the female..." is the most serious- women often pretend to be innocent after asking a really serious manipulative question and then act like you're bogus for being pissed. As a woman, this is often the first step towards breaking off a friendship with one of my girlfriends. I have often also been outright betrayed. And I tend to enjoy the stability and general easy-goingness of my male friends more than many of my female friends. Which…

Dishonoring the woman as in, "Not so pristine asa you PRETENDED to be EH???" is anti-women. That's the attitude you get from poor tortured 45-year old dudes who had to live with one of those fucked up women who now looks upon all women like they're stuck up and not worth respecting when they give respect. Calling out those few bad people who happen to be women and not following stereotypes is what I think she meant. Trust me, I know; my mother is one of those crazy fucked up, self-centered insan…

Your original point: I think that 1: it is important just to have a mens rights reddit because mens rights are ignored and at least there will exist a space on reddit to give the possibility of a constructive disscussion. 2: I've seen both stupid and interesting posts in the mens rights subreddit so I don't think that I can personally agree with your opinion that it is totally self-pitying. Whether our primitive drives translate well to our modern hierarchies: My point was just that sex (which o…

LOL I don't think we have a biological drive for a nice professional position or spiritual alignment- cavemen didn't. Both sexes are driven to procreate- survival of the fittest is oriented towards REPRODUCING. HELLO..

/vent Just like my crazy mother went through her boyfriends retirement and promised to "pay him back". Yeah right- he was left with nothing after they broke up. And they weren't even married! Crazy bitch. /end vent

True. BUT their points are valid- look at the mental state of Princess Masako. Point made.
