I have this weird theory that the way you stop discrimination is to STOP DISCRIMINATING. That means you IGNORE things like gender and race and sexual preference and religious preference and hire the most qualified person for the job. As long as he doesn't touch or say anything really crude you let her handle it. She's not a child and not your property. If you've asked her to do specific things at specific times with you and she's avoided it, she's not interested. If you're not interested in having her just as a text buddy, then I'd forget her and move on. Occasionally going radio silent for a week or so will do something to a person and ignite interest where there really wasn't any before. I'd recommend that. Drop off the face of the earth--you don't respond to texts, answer phone calls, no emails, nothing. Then text her out of the blue a week…
