There is a piece of advice that has always been a favorite of mine and I usually ascribe it to my gym attendance. Winning in situations like this should not be measured in terms of outcomes, success is measured with attendance. The fact that you were there and acted was the win. Just ask yourself, what would have happened if you were not there. Would the first victim still be breathing? I’m happy to know that you were in a position to help and acted. A lot of us lurkers lack the physical strength to act out and stand up to protect others. This is why I read this subreddit, so that one day I can do what you just did. To protect the ones I care about when danger presents itself. The red pill didn’t give you morals, it prepared you to act when your morals demanded you to.

Understanding the concept of caring about the right things is very difficult for people to understand. It takes time to ingrain red pill principles and unfortunately a lot of people either want fast results or are pursuing this path for the wrong reasons. Given enough time we can only hope that people find a better reason and develop the diligence to properly pursue their own self improvement.

I told my wife the headline and she asked "Why do mormons die of prostrate cancer?" I was about to uphold my reddit honor by correcting her and stated that "More men die of..." and then it hit me that I just said mormon.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
